I LOOOOOVVVVEEE Your bed! OMG thats its like exactly what I was looking at getting. Your entire house is beautiful, I love all the colors.. we are going to be moving into our very first house in about a month.. and I can't wait to paint and add color to my life. We have always lived in apartments, or rental places- were they are all white walls and cream carpet.. grr.. I hate it. But anyways, you are inspiring me with ideas.. because now that I get to finally paint- and actually design.. I can't make a final decision! hehe

OHH and I love all the disney touches you have throughout.. soo cute. I have turned my computer room into the disney theme memorbilia.. I'll have to post pics once its gets painted and all set up.. I'll try to remember! =)

LOL I ate VERY little mexican food. Darren's dad paid for it on the way there haha I'm ok with barbeque corn nuts though, that didn't bother me.

I would have gotten it too, even if we didn't use it as a topper...we almost didn't because we got it in like two days before the wedding! I was so nervous!

Awww thanks!! I would die with plain white walls. I needed some color. You'll do great with designing your house. It's YOURS so you can fix it up however you want. That's the best part.

Ok, I was going to post an update but I'm kinda working right now. I just came home for lunch, so I just have a quick question for you all.

The day we came back from Disney, we booked our trip for Panama City Beach in May...We usually go to Disney once a year, then a beach trip once a year. We always go to the beach with my brother, and to Disney with Darren's parents (which you obviously know)

Ok, so I got that 40% off post card in the mail for Disney resorts...I get a quote for this September. We can stay in the Caribbean Beach for only $800 for 8 nights..Pretty good deal, so I ask Darren. He says that sounds good.
So I'm looking forward to this trip alone with DH and I, just relaxing, most likely the last trip before we have a baby.

Well, last night Darren tells his parents that we're probably going in September, just mentioning it to them. His mom says, "That's a good deal. Let me know when you book it and we'll give you the money."

Ummm.

They just invited themselves on our vacation. Of course Darren doesn't want to hurt their feelings and say they can't go with us, but still. It kinda makes me not even want to go, because we ride with them, go everywhere with them. I wanted it to be just DH and I for the first time since our honeymoon.

And the thing about it is, at the end of this vacation, they were both complaining about it being too long, not wanting to ride anything, once a year is enough, too much actually.

What would you do? Am I just being a with about the whole thing, or is it as rude as it seems? Why can't we have a vaction with them, a vacation with my brother and his family, and then one of our own?

wow! that totally sucks that they invited themselves on your vacation. Maybe sit down and have a chat with them and just tell them that there's nothing against them but you guys really want to have a trip to disney just the two of you this time and you all can go somewhere else later. Maybe try and make a deal with them to go to disney with them every other year so that way at least once every two years you get a disney trip just the two of you garunteed. All you can do is put it to them gently and hope that they recieve it well. Things like that when there's assumptions going on are always hard to deal with. Good luck! I hope you can get it worked out. If you do go in september when are you gonna go? We'll be there sept 13th - 20th. maybe we can run into eachother

I don't think I would let it ruin your trip or cancel it. Maybe explain to them that u were thinking of going yourselves or if they would like to come that you would like to do your own things and you can meet up for dinners.

What dates are u looking at? Is it when I am there.

Definitely book, it is a great price.

No advice on the in-laws inviting themselves along on your trip, I'm afraid. Just wanted to say that I've just got all caught up and loving it so far - can't wait for more. Hope you get the 'alone' trip that you want in September

ah, I totally understand. It's so hard to not hurt feelings in those kinds of situations unless you just go with the flow. It will probably be easier to get some alone time since you'll have your own vehicle there. Ya'll can go out and do things they probably wouldn't want to like the Adventurer's Club or Comedy Club at PI.

Day 1. Part 2. January 25th.

Ok, so did we get the rooms we requested?? Yes! Two king sized rooms right next to each other. They were handicap accessible, so it was just the shower. As long as no one needed the rooms, we said we'll take them!

They weren't ready yet, so we drove to the Polynesian for a breakfast at Captain Cooks. Ahhh, it brought back so many memories of our honeymoon! It felt as if we'd never left!

So we got our food and sat down at a table outside. It was so chilly! We had some of our duck friends from last time trying to bum some food out of us, but we didn't give in. We didn't want to mess up their normal eating habits, although I'm sure they get way more people food than they're supposed to.

I had the child's scrambled egg and bacon with grapes. It was fine, as far as scrambled eggs go:

Darren and his mom had the Tonga Toast with bacon...Good, as always:

Darren's dad had the breakfast platter. He said it was delicious:

Darren just HAD to go to the arcade to play the game he spent so much money on last time. He did win me an MP3 player and Gameboy Advance, so I couldn't complain:

He had no luck on this day. Oh well.

Then we decided to take the monorail to Magic Kingdom until our rooms were ready. We realized we left our tickets in the van so Darren's dad ran to get them while we waited in the lobby:

Then it was off to MK! We didn't wait no time for the monorail. There's nothing like the smell of the monorail to let you know you're at Disney

This was about the only day that those cheap paper tickets actually worked when we put them in the machine, but more on that later. We had to rent Darren's mom a cart because she has arthritis in her knees and she can't walk very far.

So we did that, then we saw the castle for the first time this trip:

We hooked a left, we were on a mission....A mission to get to:

There was only a 5 minute wait, and we got on in no time. I just love this ride, and Jack Sparrow is a good addition I think. So we yo ho'd and then exited to the gift shop, of course.
In the gift shop this little girl's mom handed her something, and the little girl said, "OH YES!!!...What is it??" I thought it was funny.

On to Frontierland:

We passed by Splash Mountain, just to make sure they weren't tricking us. They weren't, it was closed.

Boooo!
