Great update! The room's so cute, I love all the little Disney touches. And everyone should Lysol their room before they touch anything!

Thank you! Yes, Lysol is a must! Darren was laughing at me because I sprayed the phone and the remote. I was like, "Those are the two most germ infested things in here!"

I don't blame you for wiping everything down with the lysol. I have seen way too many news specials on hotel cleanliness to not do my own mini-cleaning.

Those are the first two things you have to spray! With so many random people touching and breathing into things you don't wanna even know whats growing on those We Lysol everything at the hotels and wash and vacuum everything at the vacation homes. I'd be too skeeved out not to!

So you liked the updates to the Haunted Mansion? I'm not too sure about the new bride. I liked the old one better, I think. And I didn't like that they took some of the pictures out of the first waiting area. Other than that, I like everything pretty well.

Philharmagic is one of my favorites. Did you get to smell the smells? I never did until our last trip. I'm oblivious most of the time.

Good for finally getting your nap. I'm sure you needed it. Your room looks very nice. Much better than All Star Sports (sorry, I just can't abbreviate that one ). I especially like your towel Mickey. My hubby destroyed ours before I got a chance to see it.

Yep, it's a curtain. It has the silhouettes of Mickey and Minnie and everybody. It really came in handy when Darren would get up before me and I still wanted to sleep!

Great pictures of the room - we've only gotten towel animals on the Disney Cruise - but now we stay at the Dolphin, so it's not as "Disney-fied" as the other resorts!

Hope it's a good day for everyone! I was out all day yesterday picking up things. I'm going to have the house all decorated with candles and stuff when Darren comes home from work...It's our first married Valentine's Day! He better appreciate my efforts lol. We're never romantic, but one day shouldn't kill us.

Day 1. Part 4

Well that nap felt GREAT! I didn't want to wake up, but we'd already slept too much. We were in Disney World for cryin' out loud! We woke up at about 5:00 and headed out the door to Epcot for Extra Magic Hours.

I still look tired haha.

Just outside our room. Remember the room on the bottom floor, the one that's by itself, not with another door beside it...Just remember it, for future reference lol.

Darren took pictures as we walked along:

They played Wii on that big blown up TV screen every night. And watched a Disney movie afterwards...It was a cute idea.

So Darren wanted to check out the arcade to see if they had his game in there...They didn't...Which is probably for the best! Haha.

We go outside and hop on the Epcot bus. We got there at about 6:30pm.

We headed straight to Mexico to eat. We picked Cantina de San Angel.
I got the child's quesadilla and nachos. Darren got the Cantina nachos. I don't remember what his parents got.
Darren also got a margarita. It was pretty good. I don't know why we don't have pictures of all of this?

I didn't like the quesadilla. It had no flavor AT all. So I just ate the nachos and cheese.

After eating, we stopped off the get our EMH bands:

Now it was time to have some fun! We headed to Spaceship Earth. Let me just say that I have never ever seen a line for this ride before now. It said a 15 minute wait, but I think we waited longer than that.

I have some pictures from the end of the ride, but I don't want to ruin it for anyone who hasn't been on it. All I can say is we cracked UP!! It was really funny. I love the new additions.

So we get off SE and it's FREEZING outside. So what do we do? Get ice cream of course! LOL. Why do people crave ice cream when it's cold out? Beats me.
We go to a little ice cream shop (I don't know what it's called?) and sit inside. I got a scoop of strawberry and Darren got a Coke float. I think his dad got a shake and his mom got a sundae.

After our ice cream, we head over to The Seas.

There was no wait, but the queue line is about 3 miles long so it takes about 10 minutes to walk through lol. It's a cute little ride, I enjoy it.

After Nemo, we get in line for Soarin'. Let me just say I HATE how wide this queue is. It's just more reason for people to cut. I know it saves alot of space, but I don't like it.
Anyway, it was a 30 minute wait, which isn't that bad for Soarin', so we get in line. We ended up sitting in the last row, which is ok with me! I don't like heights!

I smelled the scents in here too, Tat2!! Haha. I love Soarin'!

After riding, we were still tired and COLD, so we decided to head back to the hotel. We got on the bus and made it back to the resort by 10:30.

We were hungry again, so Darren and I went to the food court to see what they had. We also got our refillable mugs.

We ended up getting the pizzas:

I didn't care for these much at all. I didn't like the sauce. We also got Coke in our mugs...Little did we know it would be the last time the Coke tasted good the WHOLE trip! But more on that later...

We went back to the room to take a shower. We were in bed by 11:30.

I woke up at 3:20am....This would be a pattern the whole trip. I never slept the whole night. I read for a little while until I fell back asleep...

And that concludes the very LONG Day 1!!!!
