GDad - Lucky guy! Thanks for the pic...we are hoping that the opening day is still either the 19th, 20th or 21st - it sort of isn't sounding that way, though :sad2:

Yekcim - Not to push the issue, but have you made a decision yet ;)

Groucho - Great shot!!

I was under the impression the Toy Story Mania ride preview was just this Friday-Sunday and that was it- I could be wrong though (it happened once before a long long time ago. ;) )

Ed,

Now, come on...I have seen your pictures, and you have A LOT to choose from!

Start from the beginning and just start posting one a day....don't forget, a lot people haven't seen all your pictures!

Deb does have a point, I haven't seen that many...humor us!!;)

I second that! :thumbsup2 We wont mind if Yekcim repost old pics!

Ed, are you still awake? I think it's past your bedtime, so you'll see all of this tomorrow morning!

I think we've started something!

Yeeeeeep- I had this 'conversation' with him months ago. :rolleyes1

i'm with everyone else. missing your great photos! i don't mind if you post some that have already been posted before!!! i bet you can't wait to go in november.
b-t-w- did mrs. yekcim like her new lens??

Yekcim - Not to push the issue, but have you made a decision yet ;)

Thank you all so much; I am truly humbled and will go back and see what I can dig out from 06 and forward, starting in the morning.

The quality of the photos posted on this thread is just simply amazing, and I am just stunned by the work that I see here every time I hit the thread. Great pix, guys. There are some wonderfully talented photographers here. Kudos to each and every one!

Yes, Mrs Y likes "her" new lens, and so does her husband! It is an incredibly sharp lens and focuses all the way from 1:1 to infinity. I'm most impressed and have to agree with all the user reviews I've read that say something along the lines of, "sharpest lens I own".

I'll post some examples over on the Photography Board shortly.

Again, thank you all for persuading me to "come out of retirement". You guys are THE BEST!

~Ed

your shots are great! recycle all you want! Looks like we'll be at the world about the same time, we'll have new shots then:)

Thank you!!! :thumbsup2

I find it kind of fun looking back at some of my old POTD pics and reposting some of the better ones. Brings back nice memories of our past trip. Like you said though it will be nice to restock with some new POTD shots!

ARE YOU COPYING MY TICKER? :rotfl:

Looks like we will be arriving on the same day, huh?!

Thanks folks!

Here's another EE shot with the sun in it, I posted this in my trip report thread but this one is slightly tweaked. Needless to say, I was hanging on to the camera pretty tightly here!

SrisonS, I gotta tell ya, you come up with some of the greatest angles! Great shots of the Splash queue and Cinderella fountain!

Code, very nice one of the Soarin queue attraction sign...

MassJester, beautiful shot through the flowers to Spaceship Earth...

Gdad, very cool - how'd you like the new attraction?

Groucho, wow very cool shot from Expedition Everest... nice save!

YEKCIM, very nice... I don't believe I've seen that shot of Space Mountain before... welcome back! (doin' the yay YEKCIM's back dance  )

On Main Street USA at the Magic Kingdom, there are several bronze statues.

In addition to the bronze "Partners Statue" of Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse in front of Cinderella Castle, there is also the "Sharing the Magic" of Roy O. Disney sitting with Minnie Mouse near the park's entrance. Surrounding the "Partners Statue" at the central hub, are several iconic Disney characters featured throughout the park. Some of these include; Minnie, Donald, B'rer Rabbit, Goofy, Chip and Dale, etc.

This is a picture of the Pinocchio with Jiminy Cricket statue at the central hub.
