LOL! I was going through my old albums and almost selected my shot of that- almost identical- except I had a poorer position on the sun and it was mostly blacked out!

It was dismantled, per one CM, because of wood rot and was un-salvageable. This is believable.

Wow I remember back in the day when you could actually get up inside that ship and walk around :) :thumbsup2

It's a shame because it was a beautiful ship...and it made for a great pic too. :)

Fortunately I was there are just the right time for lighting purposes. :thumbsup2

Ya- a lot of people were quite taken aback by its removal, figuring another one of those 'corporate' decisions' that have plagued the World over the last few years. But wood rot, well, not much you can do about that once it's done its damage: so i let them slide on this one. Just glad I have "anything" on it! I posted a POTD of the whole thing some time ago...
