Pics Of the Contemporary Vacation Club!!!!

Regardless of the computer type, right click on Tinks first pictures and save them as a jpeg file.

I looked at the website and yes they are gone, but it is still on the first page of this thread.
It looks super !
Lets see if it is true or not !

I have said all along I this would be the next DVC and if the drawings have been removed, I would say that you have had a sneak peak at the plans for it.

Thank you vonpluto and corpcomp for your help. Unfortunately I have no clue what a command click or a jpeg is. Yes, I'm helpless on a computer!

But I just started printing and then removed the paper after I had what I wanted...well a few extra sheets. :teeth:

Thank you again. :sunny:

I concur. I can't imagine these illustrations would mysteriously disappear if they weren't the real deal.

I'm looking at the design and thinking that the C shape should be smoothed out and flipped so that the broad backside curve follows along the shoreline .
This would give a whole lot of rooms direct lake views w/o looking in towards other rooms. The smoothed out curve would center on a courtyard BUT all the rooms would have wonderful viewlines toward the fireworks.

I think that the walkway should most definitely be a moving walkway.

I don't think the current design which has a traditional curve shape fits at all with the A frame shape of the Contemporary Tower. And the current design wastes space at the ends of the buildings. If they don't have units there, they should at least have glass elevators to make it more....contemporary!

And I think that the courtyard pool area should rival that of other major timeshare resorts and be a lazy river multi pool type design.

Over and out. :goodvibes

I so agree with you on this.

For those of us who cherish a peaceful view, the broad backside view would give more privacy and peace.

For those who like more action, the inside view would provide that but as you said if it the curve was smoothed out. Or opened up, elongated....

Might as well really ruffle some feathers. If I'm lucky I might even get a cease & desist notice (oh, the joy).

Someone really good with Photoshop might want to take over and make 'em look real purdy.

Thanks for reposting the image. It is really growing on me. I really like the way this new building looks. And the pool area seems like it will be just as big as the current pool area, so they're practically doubling that.

Wow.....I got on here this morning & feel a little guilty. I hope I didn't get the design company in trouble. :sad1:

I hope I don't get in trouble!

What If They Won't Let Me Add On Because Of This?!?!?!? :scared1:

:thumbsup2 Don't feel guilty at all. You found information that was put on a public website. I do think that somebody at the architectual firm has a smaller behind after being chewed on by Disney yesterday. I've seen better investigative reporting here on the Disboards than 60 minutes has done lately. Very impressive! :surfweb:

Check out the signature Mississippian is using on the thread about smoking(For you smokers out there). last page as of now, it is soo cool. I believe he is the first one to use it. After today I bet several people will be using it...smjj

What is wrong when you are up at 6am reading and posting to a Disney board? I think I might have an addiction. Can somebody please stop me.

I'd stop you, but I'm addicted too.

Thanks for posting this great news and I saved the pictures too. CR is one of my favorites so needless to say, I too will add more points.

I would LOVE to own at VCR!!! It's my favorite resort.

I own at BWV now (270p). I would gladly sell them all to own exclusively at VCR!

I have a question. Those that are excited about this and will buy into this, what will you do? Sell what you have and buy VCR or own at both resorts?

Or will you just add on lets say 50 pts? But how would you be able to book at VCR with only 50pts??

I guess I don't get the point of owning 25 - 50 pts at another resort. Is that so you can book at that resort at 11 months? But that isn't enough to book a room with. :confused3 Sorry, I'm so confused.

I thought the best thing to do was to buy all my points at VCR rather then 25 - 50pts.

So what would everyone else do? :surfweb:

I think we'll do at least a 100 point add on. With banking and borrowing that will be more than enough. Of course I also thought that 200 was enough and that we had enough after each of our three add-ons. ;)

I say to myself daily....."will we ever have enough?" :confused3
