I would hate to see how small the rooms would be if they had to fit the same number of rooms on only 5 or 6 floors, on the same footprint. There just wouldn't be enough space to move around the room! I would suspect that the 15 stories is essential to ensuring that the property would be a worthwhile investment to pursue.
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! said:I dont like hte 15 story idea. I'll be happy if they stick it to 5 or 6 floors so it doesn't over shadow the Tempo Bay. I hope they revise those plans, but then again I have to agree that those images shouldnt be considered final. For all we know they were just tinkering with the idea and might back out...

Regardless, I don't believe the Contemporary's grounds are large enough for both a five story version of the villas, and all the additional parking, recreation and open space that would be necessary.

But of course, I don't have a vote.![]()
As for additional parking, there is already parking for the North Wing. It would obviously be reconfigured. And other than another pool, I wouldn't think there would need to be any other recreational space added. Nothing extra was added at BCV beyond another quiet pool. The CR already has so many activiites.
