Kathy, I finally had a minute to post on the new CSR thread. Had hoped to be among the first, but haven't been on line but for a couple of minutes until this afternoon.

You have done an outstanding job, my friend!!! I swear, I'm not saying that b/c I'm biased, you truly did a fabulous job with the thread...and the photos are perfection! Congratulations on a job well done and one that will continue just as outstanding! :thanks: pixiedust:

Janet, if you're home - hope you had a wonderful visit!

Christine, I'm here! Yes, I had a wonderful visit with my Mom, sister & her friend and daughter - the other "samantha" that came on our Disney trip last year.

Kathy - I agree with Christine - the new CSR thread looks great:thumbsup2. I have never stayed there but since reading all the CSR info iits made me want to stay there on a future trip.:).

On another subject, my nephew plays for the Brewers.... so we became Brewer fans this year. He got called up from the minors this year. We are all so excited for him and he is doing pretty well so far. I think he has had about four home runs and some great plays too. He plays 3rd or is the designated hitter. Keep an eye out for him... Mat Gamel.

Kelly - Janet here! This is soooo cool being called up to the "big show". We are big basebal fans and have the MLB sports package thru Direct TV. We will have to shuffle thru to see if we can find a Brewers game and look for your nephrew!! The best of luck to him!

Oh Trust me...my Big boy gets just as upset as the little one if the Phillies lose. until last year, they were used to it...It has been difficult to explain to Chris that while the Phillies won the World Series last year, it was a long road to get there, and he can't expect them to win all the time.

I agree that Hawaii is better than baseball! The funniest thing is tha tthat's what he's looking forward to the most...Shane Victorino is one of his favorite players. He grew up on Maui. My mom's friend was his pre-school teacher. They have set up a baseball field tour, so Chris can see all the fields that he had played on when he was his age. He will be on :cloud9:

Hi Heather! Wow - a trip to Hawaii - he won't have time to miss the Philllies. :) Side note: I won tickets last year from my work and got to see a world series game in our company's suite box:cool1:. It was soo neat - it was the game delayed by rain - we didn't care, we had all the food and drinks we wanted.

Well, I missed you all - it was very strange not to have any internet. I was at my Mom's cottage on Lake Ontario (near Watertown) - the cottage is right on the water. Wished it could have been a little warmer, but, heck, we still had a great time, relaxing on the beach with some "beach punch".:yay:

Well, I'm praying for Plan A to be the ticket! It makes sense to me that you would look like heck since you've been worried sick!! As Heather said, take it as a good sign that she even noticed. ;)

So glad the water is working...you are surely sound asleep bu now, but when you do read this, know I sent a big bear hug just for you!

Rest well, sweet friend.:cloud9:

Ha. I couldn't go to bed. I wish! Have to stay awake for the munchkin. DH will be home in a half hour and then, I'm going to bed!!

Thank you for the huggles. Love em!

Tracy
Just went thru the thread, thank you for sending me the link - At first, I thought I was losing it cause I coudn't find you al!

I am so sorry to hear about your Mom, I'm sending positive thoughts your way for Plan A to work. She will get better.

Aren't Moms great? I mentioned to my Mom that I need to lose some weight, and she quickly agreed!:) I agree with Heather & Christine, your Mom must be feeling better with the remark she made to you!

Hope you have peaceful dreams ... talk to you tomorrow.
Janet

Oh good, I am glad you found us! Yup, moms are great for doing things like that. I hope plan A works too. :)

I think you should start packing a little day...I usually do about ten days out.
I hope you get a good night's rest tonight...you've had a rough couple days.

Thanks, ladies. :) I am nodding off. This is pathetic. I just woke myself up from mumbling!
I'll bet you are exhausted. Hopefully you will sleep well tonight.

Wow - 10 days!!! :cool1: YAY!! Have a little beach punch for me too, in fact, have more than a couple for me!! You need my cousin along - she makes the best beach punch ever!!! It's a great stress reliever!

Tracy, no matter how soon I start packing, I'm still up to all hours the night before - I'm such an overpacker, its pathetic, I drive my whole family nuts thinking I'm forgetting something!

Kelly, somehow I missed this post - how exciting!! Now I have a reason to watch the Brewers!! :woohoo:

Note to self...reserve LARGE room for Girls Trip with Janet! :thumbsup2

Welcome back, Janet..now it feels like the "gangs all here"...love it!

Busy day here...

Shuttling girls here and there.

My oldest flew to Florida last week to help with my nephews so I am down to two.
Then a friend called and has rented a beach house in Florida next week and wants me to come and bring the girls, so we are going to the beach for a week!!! I won't have internet, so I"ll have some catching up to do when I get back :)

Tracy... glad to hear there is a plan. I do better in general when I have a plan. My youngest DD had leukemia when she was 5. It took about 3 weeks to get a good diagnosis and that three weeks were the worst. So, plans are good :) I'll keep you in my prayers.

Oh, and the CD. We ended up with about 70 pictures, but then after I added signatures and borders and crap there are over 200. I never have pictures of the five of us, so I really like that I can get them at Disney.

:)

Good Morning, Pickles,

Tracy, hope today brings some better news for your mom's situation. Hang in there, sweet friend. You know we've got you in a bear hug.

Suitcases coming out is a very good sign...me thinks you're in the single digits today!!!:dance3:

Kelly, what a scare for you to learn your your little one had Leukemia ~ I hope she is doing wonderfully well now.

Florida beach house for a week - not bad, not bad!!! :woohoo: I could handle a surprise like that! Are you going to drive or is it too far south? Have a fabulous time!!

It is probably safer that I do not drive or I'd be heading for Disney at the drop of hat. No longer have an AP - those things are expensive!!

Have been hoping Disney might repeat the Neighbor (was it God Neighbor?) offer to Ga, SC & NC residents - the rates were as good as AP's and FL resident rates. Of course, even if that happens, no way I could go. Silly me.:upsidedow

Blessings on our days, my friends.

Have fun at the beach house!!! It sounds great! (Well, except for the no Internet...I'm not sure how well I'd handle that!

I'm sure that was a scary time when your DD had Leukemia...espescially waiting for a diagnosis...the diagnosis stinks, but the sooner you get the right diagnosis, the sooner you can start treatment. I hope she's doing great now!!!

Oh wow! Renting a beach house for a week would be wonderful. I almost wish we had an extra week to do that.

I hope your daughter is okay now! What a scary thing to have to go through. I can't imagine. I hate cancer. Hate hate hate! I've lost so many family members from this rotten disease. I cringe when I hear the word. My sister's MIL had stomach cancer a few years back and she battled hard. She went into remission. She just got tested last week and it's back again. :sad2: I hate it! Sorry, kinda went off on a tangent there. I do that when I'm a bag of hammers.

Have a wonderful time at the beach!

There won't be any news for a few days. They need to regulate the coumadin dosage and wait and see? I really don't know. My attention span and memory isn't the greatest these days. I am sure she will be fine.

Try not to worry too much, mama bear. Easier said than done, I know. That is such a long flight from the east coast. I've told hubby that it's very unfortunate we will never get to see Hawaii. :rotfl: I do NOT like flying at all.

Thanks for th e good wishes for Chris, everyone. I'm glad I have you all to chat with to keep my mind off things.:grouphug:

Not to worry, my little Baylie is great now. We had a hard time for a while but she has been cancer free 5 years since last October. She is a 7th grader now and doing very well. Thanks!

We are driving to the beach. It is about 7 1/2 hours from here. DH, Jeff, can't go and he is bummed.

I know my car will want to head to I-4 to head to Disney..

I would be so tempted to keep on going to Disney, too! Heck, I went to see a friend in Baltimore a few weeks ago, and was so tempted just to stay on 95 South!:drive:pixiedust:

Oh you are SO lucky! I absolutely love LOVE to drive. We drive 12 -13 hours straight any time we go on vacation. I'd be driving to Orlando if it didn't take 3 days. One way. :(

Wonderful to hear that your daughter is happy and healthy. A true blessing. Oh, you're going to have so much fun at the beach!! :yay:

I don't mind driving without the kids (although lately, I can't stand being in the car with Brian) A DIS friend and I drove out to Michigan to see another friend and it took 11 hrs. It was a blast! However, I was ready to drive off a bridge when I drove down to MD last weekend, cause the kids were fighting the whole time.

How's the water situation today, Tracy? Do you have any? Are you allowed to leave today?
