picked up brother bear yesterday

verified that the widescreen version plays in a "box" that is smaller than the viewing area of the TV.
3 different dvd players were used.

anyone else have this problem?

something similar happened with Nemo too.

apparently it changes to wide screen during the beginning at some time. a friend borrowed it and just told me that it does.

All widescreen (the original movie size) videos play smaller than the screen.

If you don't like the "letter box", you need full screen. I would rather see wide sceen now, you get more of the actual picture, but the box makes me nuts. Maybe it's time to replace the big screen with a wide screen plasma?
