1st trip to WDW? Characters.... Garden Grill was great - check out my 2010 dining review! Have a great trip... My 2nd choice would be Coral Reef.... also reviewed...

My family loves Biergarten! We went once when the kids were 2 and 5 and once when they were 3 and 6 and will be going again this year (5 and 8). The band is great entertainment; we love to get up and dance. The food is decent (everyone loves the pretzel bread). They serve good beer. We get to sing. Big fun all around.

Another vote for Coral Reef. We will be eating there for our 3rd time in 3 trips this July. My DD's love the food (esp. the make your own sundaes, lol) and the aquarium is great to keep them entertained while you eat. We have seen divers in the tank and last time a shark was hanging around over our heads the whole time :scared1: The girls LOVED it! I have always had really good food there and great service. It is one of our favorites!

I agree with Teppan Edo or Coral Reef. We do Teppan Edo every trip and Coral Reef was one of our favorite meals last year, plus we got to sit right next to the aquarium. For us, Biergarten was one of our least favorite meals ever at Disney. My son and I are very adventurous eaters and neither of us liked the food, but we also had never really tried German food before. So, if you know you like that type of food, then the entertainment is pretty good.

I voted for Chefs but Garden Grill would be my second choice.

For us Coral Reef is too iffy with the food quality. Biergarten has good food, and great atmosphere, but with 2 little ones, the buffet lines and eating at a shared table might be a little hard.

Not sure how the kids would enjoy Teppan Edo, although it is just regular hibatchi style food.

From your poll I would choose the Biergarten for overall ambience. If you want a good character meal/experience, I would pick Garden Grill. Hope you and your family have a great time! :)

I may be in the minority, but we were miserable at Biergarten last year. we've been probably 3 times before but last year we decided never again. Maybe I am just getting old and grumpy, but the music was SOOO loud last year, conversation was impossible. To add insult to injury, we were seated with another (lovely) family whom we did not know, but because we couldn't really converse, it just seemed awkward for both sides. Also, it seemed that they had added more tables. The tables were SOOO close together that we could barely get in and out of our seats and we are all small.

Like the OP, I have several kids too and mine LOVED Tutto and Kouzzina last year and could not get out of Biergarten fast enough... This year we are trying GG and Via Napoli for our Epcot nights. They also really enjoyed 'UK'.

For a 4 and 2 yo, the Garden Grill is perfect! The food is brought to your table (no getting up and down for a buffet) immediately, and you'll get great photo opportunities and fun with Mickey, Pluto, and Chip & Dale. Plus, the restaurant slowly rotates as you eat and kids get a kick out of that.

I would choose Rose and Crown before any of those in your poll. We LOVED it there...as did my boys. My 2nd choice would be Marrakesh

We enjoy Coral Reef and watching the divers and the fish as we eat. We have found the wait to be long, even with our ADRs.

I voted for other and with kids you ages would choose either Coral Reef or Garden Grill. My kids at those ages loved both! :goodvibes

I also vote for Coral Reef! We love it, and your boys will love the tank!

If your kids are good at sitting still for 2 hours, go with Coral Reef. I found it impossible to keep them occupied that long.

THe Biergarten is GREAT because they can shake their sillies out by dancing on the floor while you get to talk to others at your table. Plus, I just think buffets are so great at that age. No waiting around.

Garden Grill- very fun character meal for the kids. More character interaction and very laid back.

Of your choices, I voted for Biergarten, because the entertainment is wonderful and the kids (and adults) can even get up and dance the polka, etc. Beautiful restaurant with an outdoor feel and the German food is very good.

However, Chef's is great to see Remy, but he is only there on certain days and only until 5:30, I believe.

Garden Grill is great too, with the revolving restaurant and great character interaction. If you don't have another character meal scheduled during your trip, I would go here.

Although not on your list I voted for Garden Grill given the ages of your children since it is a character meal with Chip & Dale. The fact that the restaurant revolves while you eat is quite unique. Garden Grill is located in Future World section of Epcot

I agree. We ate here when our children were younger and enjoyed it very much!
I would recommend Le Cellier for lunch also as the food is fantastic, but the children might get bored as the theming is very subdued.
