Pick a pearl at Epcot?

If you bring your own setting will they mount it for you (or is that something that is pretty simple to do??)

If you bring your own they will not mount it for you (since they want you to spend more $$$$ and but theirs!). But the cages just open and close so if you bring your own you can just open it and add the pearl. I read that you can trade your pearl you get for ones they have in a dish if yours doesn't fit in the cage.

I just bought a carriage cage and necklace that will hold up to a 10mm pearl off Etsy for $8.00. My oldest picked a sea turtle cage with necklace for $4.50! Same seller...highly recommend..She has great feedback!

Love this!! Our almost 6 year old did this in May of 2014, and got a 7.5 mm pearl. We only waited about 10 minutes. She can't wait to do it again on our November trip. We also bought a Cinderella cage from ebay before we went, and it worked perfectly. I have read there are two locations to do this. Anyone else have info on this?

We did this just today! No wait at all and it was really fun. My DS(6) and DD(4) both picked pearls that were 7.5mm. I had ordered from Etsy a cinderella carriage cage necklace and a pirate skull necklace for about $5.00 each. Both look really cute and the pearl fits perfectly. There is also a location at Downtown Disney but I'm not sure if the make such a big deal. It was really a great experience

There is a place in DTD (my notes say near the pin trading kiosk but I have never been). I was interested because my friend got a cool setting I did not see in Japan but I have now prepurchased a Minnie cage so I will probably just purchase in Japan.

They made HUGE deal when I went on the 7th this lady had the most extreme energy ever! Someone got a black pearl too I stayed for 30 mins just watching everyone it was a blast! I had no interest in getting one, but to see everyone totally enjoying themselves was enough for me!

Keep in mind when buying cages ahead that if you get lucky ang get a larger Pearl (like my mom, my sister and I all did) most of the cages (especially the very popular Cinderella Carriage one) are only good up to about 6mm. We had some trouble finding cages that fit our larger pearls.

they will trade your pearl for one that fits whatever setting. I did earrings on my last trip and they traded mine for matching size pearls.
