Haven't been to WDW in a few years; heading back next month. Is memory maker the "new" photopass? Is buying the memory maker my only option, or can I still get photos done on a photopass card and choose which ones I want?

Thanks!

PhotoPass is the photo-taking service; Memory Maker replaced the PhotoPass + CD. You can still get the cards, or if you have a Magic Band they can scan that instead and you can just buy the pictures you want.

You can still pre-purchase the old disc under a different name. The old photopass CD is now called the Photopass Archive Disc Pre-purchase. I purchased that for SWW. I loved having a disc at the very end.

The other weekend, we stayed at WDW and the Memory Maker was part of our package for Annual Passholder room only. This included any pictures taken within 30 days. Instead of a disc, the pictures were available only as downloads. For $20, I can buy a disc of the pictures.

Or you could just download all the pictures and burn them to a disc yourself for $0.

Yes, you just have to get the files unzipped first and into jpeg. To me it was a pain to download then copy them else where before I could even copy them to a disc. I am a bit computer illiterate and I had no idea what was doing at first.
