Photopass Superthread!

For those who have lost photos...have any of you realized it after you ordered your PP+ cd? Were you able to retrieve them and was Disney willing to ship out an extra cd with those images? I know that it's asking a lot, but I checked @Kingswell to be sure that they were on my PP+ card before I left and some how they disappeared by the time I ordered my cd.

Slightly different circumstances in my case. I noticed that images were missing before I ordered and filed in the request form. Took them a long time to find them and in the end I had to place the order because the other photos were expiring. Literally an hour after I placed the order they found the photos. I e-mailed and asked what could be done (it were almost 15 images) and they said they'll send out the order again, for free, with all pictures.

I believe you could also get them to give you digital download copies of the pictures instead of shipping a new CD, but they seem to always be willing to send it too!

thank you for your answers! they have been VERY helpful! the pp+ folks were able to resolve my issue by finding my photos and sending me a new cd of my photos.

i was at the parts on november 5, got some photos taken and last week I went on the photopass website, i was able put in the 16 digit number and view all my photos. Today I went on to try and order some, however I cannot see them but it says that the 16 digit number is still associated to my account. What gives? How can I see the photos? did they expire?

So can I get a few things clear. We have a trip coming up on dec 19. I just heard about the photo pass plus so do I still have to pay for the pictures hard copy from a store. Because the pp+ is $70 plus u have to pay for the hard copy pictures once I get home?

Yes, you pay for the CD. Then if you want hard copy pictures, you would have to upload your photos to say, Walgreens and order them that way. It's not outrageously expensive to do that, however.

I just received my PP+ and already I think it's worth it. There are about 200 stock photos of the parks, fireworks, characters, rides and properties along with a release to print at your own local photo shop. I've used PP in the past and it's always worked for me, but the printing cost via Disney was ginormous to say the least. PP+ includes photos taken at Character Meals so it's a definite bonus if you usually buy some of those packages.

We love it and think its worth it. We got 255 pictures between the 2 parks. We love that everyone gets in the picture

Anyone having trouble editing/adding borders on the new website? I'm at WDW now and like to do my edits/borders every night so I'm not overwhelmed with so many at the end of the week. But, for some reason I am unable to individually click on each picture. I can see them on the slideshow though. Maybe I'm just totally missing something obvious as to how to add borders/change sizes? This is the first time I've used the new website. BTW, if it matters (which I don't think it should), I'm viewing them on an iPad. Thanks for any help!!!!

I know that on the old website you could not do any editing on an iPad or iPhone. Not sure about the new site as my trip was disneyland in September instead of WDW this year!

We are going to DLR the last week of Feb 2014 with my family (5), Brothers family (6), Sisters family (5) and 4 other family members (grandparents and such).
Am I right in assuming that if I buy the PhotoPass+ and then as we go around the parks in our separate groups, I can take all the photopass cards they collect and add them to one account?

Furthermore when I get home I can order either digital download or a cd (after editing for size and borders and such) and then when I get the files or the cd can burn them off to give to my familys? Or is that just wrong?

I know I will be ordering it but if they get some nice shots I would like to know if they will get them as well.

That is exactly what we did for both questions. We collected any photopass cards and added them to the account and we also did the digital download. I just passed along the account information and we were all able to download the pictures straight from there.

Yes, it is just $100 instead of the discounted pre-order price of $70.

If we happen to ride rides with the photo option and we haven't turned in our photopass voucher yet, we can just get the photo number and add it to our photopass plus account after the fact, can't we? We may try to get on RSR at EMH tomorrow morning but I'm not sure we'll be able to turn our vouchers in for our photopass plus card before the ride.

If it is the same day you should be fine, you'll just have to go back to the specific ride's photo counters. Make sure to make note of the photo # (I usually take a picture of the screen with my camera or my phone).

If it is not the same day I don't think they can add it, but I'm not positive.

Trying to edit my photos before adding the CD to the cart and I have some questions. I know you should save them in different sizes you would want them to be printed in and with borders/signatures etc. I don't see where to save these. I see the save button but it doesn't look like anything is being added to the total amt. of pics I have. It shows the same number of prints. When I'm in the edit picture part and on the top right it shows the different sizes and if you want glossy or matte. Can you save it in both styles (glossy and matte)? Thanks for your help!!!

Ha! Just figured it out! I have to go back to the original photo and then edit it. I was staying on the one I had already edited and that is why it wasn't showing that it was saving a new copy of it.
