Photopass Superthread!

I am waiting until I visit DL with Photopass + later this year to be completely straight on what happens with BBB and the photos there.

I know that the photos taken during the 'transformation' are by a Photopass photographer and can therefore be added to your card (normal photopass or +). princess:

What I am unsure about is the photos taken as a 'photoshoot' after the transformation, in the studio with Cinderella's carriage. These photos normally cost $29.99 if bought as a package add-on. (or come as part of the Castle package - the most expensive one). I have emailed Disney Photopass service and if I have interpreted the response I got correctly they seemed to say that with Photopass + you could get the photoshoot photos added to your card for free, but if you wanted the hard copies of these you would need to purchase the package add-on as usual.

Will update this post after I have first hand experience to report, or happy to add in others experiences!

I couldnt see this addressed further in the thread and would love to know what the end result was?. I know at WDW it is and whether or not it does at DL is part of the cost benefit analysis to purchasing it =)

Also anyone know if Pirates League does portraits and if they are included?

I can't help with PL at DLR, but I know that at WDW they charge extra for the photos at the end in the secret room, and that with PP+ they gave them to us free of charge, also allowing us to add them online to our card.

Just got back a couple of days ago so will update shortly. And I didn't really get an answer! I had Photopass+ and purchased one photo package for the 2 girls. They had me down to purchase 2 photo packages, but I asked if I could just purchase one, get the printed photo with both of them, but get individual photos too just put on the card. The check in person wasn't sure about that and had to go and ask. But came back saying yes. So that is what we did.

However on returning home there is no photos from the shoot on my card. I have entered the number from the top of the big photo and still nothing. So I am about to contact them to try and get the photos back.

Sorry it doesn't really answer your question!!

When we were there in August we went to the BBB and the "other" room photos were an add-on for $29

What do I do if some photos are not on my PhotoPass Plus account? We had our picture taken with Mickey and Minnie at Toontown during the Halloween party, but those pics are not on my account.

Go to help and there is a form to fill out to find them. It helps to upload a picture of people that were in the missing pics. I've had success 3/4 times I've tried it.

I found the form and filled it out...thanks. I'll reply back if I have any luck.

I have a question about ordering the pics from my PP Plus account. How do I get the pics into my order? Do I click "add to cart" (where it then shows me a price for each photo I've added even though I've prepaid for the PP+) or do I click on "add to favorites"?

If you have a PP+, you do your edits to all the pictures, then add the CD to your cart. I think it will ask you at some point download or hard copy. The CD case you got in the mail should have a coupon code on it that you then apply at checkout to make the CD free. If you want to order prints, it's separate and extra.

I'm still confused. How do I add them to the CD? Is that the same as "Add To Cart"? Do I need to click on "Add to Cart" for each picture that I want on the CD?

You get all of your PP+ photos on that cd... no need to add them individually.... all the photos on your account will be loaded to the cd.

Hope that helps!!:thumbsup2

I received a reply and they were unable to locate the photo. Of all the photos to get lost, it was the photo we had with Mickey and Minnie in their costumes at Toontown during the Halloween Party. Over 150 pictures taken on our PP+ card, and that was the only one we waited in a long line for (except Pixie Hollow).

Anyone know how to get different border options? I was looking at our pics from last week and there's one from MHP with all of us in front of the pumpkin that I really like and would love to add a nice Halloween border to. But the only borders its offering me are non-Halloween (except one for the happiest haunts tour?!). Other photos from our trip have Halloween border options...how do I get those on this photo?

I had the same problem with my MHP photos~ only the Happiest Haunts frame was available.

Same here. I just think they didn't think that through very well!!!

I would keep checking back on the frames. I had Duffy picts with all kinds if other borders available (but no Duffy) and eventually Duffy borders appeared. So, you never know...

Was anyone else disappointed in the available frames for Halloween in general? We got some really cute family photos taken in the Big Thunder Ranch area with all the pumpkins and orange-themed decorations in the background. A cute pumpkin-themed border would've been adorable with that, but there isn't one. Come to think of it, all the Halloween borders have more of a spooky theme to them.

I was just wondering if they add some stock photos of WDW at Christmas time - castle lights; osborne photos etc? Does anyone know? Thank you.

There are Halloween & Christmas pictures in the stock photo DVD that is sent with the voucher, but not many. May 20 total? Probably 8 of them Christmas.

We went to the Halloween Party twice and neither day any of the Toontown characters even had a Photopass photographer. *sighs*

I was having the same issue with the borders. Anything taken during the Halloween party only gets the "Happiest Haunts" border as one and only Halloween option. Definitely not thought through very well.

I've just checked again in the unlikely case Halloween borders had showed and no... but they're offering me Christmas borders for the Halloween party photos now. :rotfl:

I had three pictures missing in the end, all from character meals. One I could add when I entered the number on the package. For one I only got the picture the photographer had taken of the card, and for the other pictures of a random family. I filled in the form too and thankfully the pictures could be located.

For those who have lost photos...have any of you realized it after you ordered your PP+ cd? Were you able to retrieve them and was Disney willing to ship out an extra cd with those images? I know that it's asking a lot, but I checked @Kingswell to be sure that they were on my PP+ card before I left and some how they disappeared by the time I ordered my cd. :(
