Photopass Superthread!

we had bought a CD of all our pictures when we were on the Disney Fantasy in December.....we put the cd in the computer and went to print out the pictures and they would not correctly print out to anything smaller than an 8X10 (meaning anything less in size it would cut off borders, create white borders on the top and bottom, etc). I've read thru your fabulous thread and just want to double check before we go ahead and buy the photopass plus for our DL trip in 2 months- as long as we edit the pictures on the photopass website before we put them onto the CD we should be able to save them in various size options? Meaning i could save a picture as a 4X6 or a 5X7, with or without borders and then add all of those onto the CD??

Yes

Yes that's right. Save the photos at different sizes before you add to the CD and then they will print properly.

Oh and yes you can save them at multiple sizes and with multiple borders so you have all the options later - i.e save the same image at 4*6, 5*7, 8* 10 without any borders and also at all those sizes with a border, signature or logo

I had NO clue you could save the pictures at different sizes! 2 PP+ later and I guess you can tell I never tried to print them from the CD ;-)

I have just come home from a great trip to DLR and I used Photopass + . I was so thankful I did because it was handy to have someone else take great photos off my family. Now I'm home and I'm ready to edit them. I was looking at the edit options and noticed there were not many border options. I was looking for Halloween Borders. We were at the MHP and I wanted a MHP 2013 border. All I could see was a Happy Haunts Tour Border. Does anyone know anything about this? Are there other borders I can use to edit my photos?

Any help would be greatly appreciated !!

I'm hoping you guys can help me out. I want to get Photopass + for our upcoming trip to Disneyland. We will eat dinner at Goofy's Kitchen the evening we arrive but won't be at the parks until Saturday. How do I get those pictures since I won't have my card yet? Will they reimburse me the next day? Thanks!!

I have occasionally emailed photopass about borders. Sometimes I have good luck and they are able to add borders that I am looking for and other times they are not.

I have also found that if you have the time on your vacation it's sometimes worth it to stop at the photoshop and apply some borders there...they seem to have the full selection not just the ones that we have online.

I want to get clarification on something. We've already purchased the PP+ for our upcoming trip. At some times during our visit, some people in our group will split up. If one group has the PP+ card, can the other group get a regular photo pass card and use that to get photos taken...and then when we get home can we add those photos to our PP+ account. Or would we have to purchase the photos separately from the regular photo pass card?

We just went into the photo shop at the end of each day to have the photos transferred to the PP + card. We split up a lot with having thrill seekers, sit back and enjoyer s, and a Mickey obsessed preschooler! It was nice and easy. :) for rides, you do have to have it put in the pass same day though from the photo center at the ride.

Yes, you buy them, but when you redeem the pass the next day they will reimburse you.

Yes, as scoutingbear said the other group can just get a regular Photopass card and those can be added to your account and ordered on the one CD. Either add in park, or when you are home. If you want ride photos, the other party needs to note down the number of their photo and you can go back later that day to get them added.

So, will this also solve my other dilemma? As soon as the park opens on our first day, I don't want to spend time in the photo store exchanging my voucher. Can we just start doing attractions, and then when we see our first PP Photographer can we get a regular PP card from him and start using it to have pictures taken, and then later in the day we can go to the photo store and get our PP+ card and transfer any pics we have taken with the regular PP card onto the PP+ card?

Absolutely! We didn't pick up our PP+ until later in the afternoon when we were done enjoying some morning commando time ... We had a regular PP card that we used that morning. We don't ever go thru the trouble of merging multiple cards together. The website will allow you to enter multiple so we always skip that merge in the parks step!

I have my PP+ voucher now for our upcoming Dec trip. On our first park day (the day before is blacked out for APs) we have 8:10 am reservations at Minnie & Friends (happily is close to the PP place at DLR). Wondering if we had time to get our lanyard/card at the photoshop at park opening before our breakfast at Plaza Inn. I wanted to avoid having to pay for our pictures ahead of time only to be refunded later. So basically, is 10 minutes enough time to get our PP+ card activated?

I think 10 mins should be fine. I'm assuming the park opens at 8 am that day? If so Main St shops may well be open 3 mind before that anyway so you could go a little earlier.

It only took about 5 minutes to exchange the voucher for the card, so assuming there aren't too many people in the shop ahead of you you should be fine.

I think you should be able to do that! And while I have not been there many times - I think that if you were 5 minutes late for Breakfast it would be okay...

I just arrived home from DL for a quick 3 day trip. I am headed to WDW for 7 days 15 days from now and have purchased the pp+ for this trip. Can I wait and add my DL photo pass cards along with my WDW photos in my photo pass?
