Photopass Superthread!

I'm confused. Does the 30 days start from the first day you enter a card number into your account or the first day a picture is taken?

I'm local and am going several times over the next 2 months and was wondering if I get photopass pictures with villains during HalloweenTime, then in November get the Photopass+ for our Birthday character meals if all the pictures could be added to the one photopass account? What time restrictions would I have?

There are 2 30 day periods to be aware of. I believe that it goes like this:
You have 30 days from the day the first photo is taken to add the card to your account.
You then have another 30 days to do any edits, etc and order the photos/ CD etc.

So depending on when your trips exactly are - you could get the normal photopass card on your earlier trip(s), and towards the end of the first 30 days log in and add the card(s) to your account. Then as long as your November trip is less than 30 days after that you could add all the photos to the one photopass CD. You would just have to make sure that you ordered the CD before the 30 days from the time you added the first card to your account expired.

It sounds confusing but I hope that makes sense!!

As an example:
Visit DL 10th-17th October and get first photopass photos taken on 10th Oct.
That card must be added to your account by 9th November.
You add the card to your account on 7th November. You now have until 7th December to order the photos, CD, etc.
You visit again on 20th - 23rd November with photopass plus.
You add those cards to your account as soon as you return. Make edits etc. And as long as you order before 7th December then your prepaid photopass + CD can have the photos from both trips on it.

Oh no!!!! I am heading to DL tomorrow (currently in LA) and just realized that I forgot our voucher in the kitchen at home!

I have the email from July. If I had to, I could probably get my neighbor to go into my house and send me a photo of the voucher....(do I need to do this?)

Any advice? I can't believe I forgot this!!! It's been ready to go for ages!!!!

Oh no!! Sorry no real advice. All I can suggest is going to one of the photoshops or Guest Relations, and explaining to them. Hopefully they'll be able to cancel your old one and get you a new one, but I don't know. Good luck!!!!

Cel_disney, take a copy of the email with you into the photo shop. Explain and I'm sure they can fix it up for you. You cannot be the only person to ever have done this (something that I always try to remember). :0) I know that if you don't get your vouchers before you leave but you ordered it 14 days or more in advance, they can help...

Similar thing happened to me at WDW in February- I left the voucher in the hotel. I went to guest relations in Magic Kingdom, found the e-mail on my phone and from the number provided they were able to give me my photopass card. Voila, like magic. No worries.

On second thought, I think it was the photo shop...

Don't go to Guest Relations...you will need to go to or of the photo shops and they will help you...even without the voucher in hand.

Just wanted to let you guys know that the photo shop at CA was super helpful and easy! I told them I left my voucher home and I had my email from July. They hooked me up with a photopass lanyard and even had me take a picture of the back before leaving! (I always take a picture anyway, but I thought it was great they facilitated having me do it so other will know to do it too!)

Problem is, I just learned about it today and we are 13 days away from arrival. Does anyone know if its possible to purchase the Photopass+ today (13 days away from arrival) and just not turn in the voucher for redemption until our second day there (14 days from now)?? Any help is appreciated! Thanks!!

The 14 days has nothing to do with when you use it or activate it, it is for shipping purposes. I beleive they use 14 days so that you will have it before you leave for your trip!

I ordered mine on Friday the 13th and got an email yeserday, the 16th that it has shipped. I am in CA so I expect it should be here in a day or two.

If you are in the States, I would say go ahead and order it today, you should have it. If you are out of the country, I probably wouldn't do it.

dumb question...but i'm home now. I claimed all my pictures. do I just add the photocd to my cart and order it? or do I add the pictures to the cd somewho?

Once you have made all the edits you want to the pictures just put the cd in your cart and it will have all of the pictures on it.

Quick question. We are leaving on 9/30 to San Diego, and DH leaves 10/4, we are then all driving up on 10/5 to DL. It is just one day over the 14 day window for ordering the photopass+ if my DH brings it with him. Or, should I order it and have it shipped to my dad's house in San Diego where we are staying? Do you think it will make it to Hawaii before 10/3? Thanks!

Have it shipped to your dad's. I had mine shipped to my mom's (also in SD) so that I had the best chance of getting it.

I am out of town so thought that I couldn't add it to see if I lost my pictures. I remembered that I had taken a picture of the back just in case. I added the number and my pictures are still there so relieved. Thanks
