Photopass disappointment

Originally, only 3 of the 9 photos taken actually showed up online at DisneyPhotopass.com! We had 3 photos each taken in front of the castle at Magic Kingdom, Spaceship Earth at Epcot, and the giant Christmas tree at Epcot, all on December 18th (my husband's birthday).

Disney was able to find one more set of 3 photos, so now we have the ones at the castle and at Spaceship Earth, but none in front of the tree.

We are wondering if this has happened to anybody else?? Needless to say, we will make sure we get a different Photopass the next time we go to Disney World in case the one we have was defective.

Luckily, we love all 6 of the photos that Photopass ended up having online, so it's not a huge disappointment. Just a heads up, be sure to have plenty of photos taken so you won't be disappointed if some are missing.

Similar thing happened to us -- we had probably 4 or 5 photos taken on Main Street in MK. We actually bought 2 of them on site (this is JUST as they were switching over from having to wait in line to being able to view them at home, so supposedly we were going to be able to do both). Well, we get home, logged into the site, and only 2 of the photos are there -- and believe it not, they're NOT the same 2 we purchased on site that I was going to purchase more of!

I clicked on a link on the site, and wrote an e-mail explaining the situation. I got a reply, telling me to click on a different link which brought me to a form I could complete with a lot of details, in the hopes they could locate the missing photos. In fact, if it helps you, here is the reply I received and the instructions, so you can try to do the same. Can't hurt!

"Thank you for your recent visit to Disney's PhotoPass website and
question about missing images.

We suggest clicking on the "Can't find your Disney PhotoPass?" link.
Please fill in the information as completely as you can. It is
important to describe the locations of the missing photo(s) within the
form and use the comments section to explain that you were successfully
able to claim some, but not all, photos from your PhotoPass(es). Once
the form is completed, click Send, and we will do our best to locate
your missing photos. Please note that we take thousands of Guest photos
every day.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The more detailed information you can provide the
better chance we have of finding your photos.

If you need to reply to this e-mail, please reply 'with history'
(include any previous e-mail) so we can expedite our service to you. If
you should have future questions on Disney's PhotoPass, please be sure
to revisit the Web site at www.DisneyPhotoPass.com as we are continually
adding information to enhance our service.

Best Regards,

Joe Noble

Thank you for your response! I actually already contacted Disney Photopass by way of the same link to which you referred. They were apparently able to locate 3 more photos (for a total of 6 out of the 9 photos taken), as 3 more photos appeared on the site today (a day after I emailed them). That leaves 3 photos unaccounted for.

I do wonder if I would have been able to see all 9 of the photos if I'd checked while we were still in the park--they said we could check in the parks 30 minutes after the photos were taken, but that it could take up to 24 hours for the photos to show up on the DisneyPhotopass.com site.

All of ours were there along with 5 pictures of some little boy we do not know?! It was easier to order photos this way than to stand in line everyday!

Just remember...
Photos are available for viewing only in that park where the photos are taken.
So if on your last day, you visit MK, Only MK photos can be viewed there...You will have to view the photos at each park or wait till you get home.
