Just seen on Facebook they are raising the price to $169.95 from the 21st March. People are not happy who have commented.
No price for Pre-order so no idea if thats going up also.

"News Update for our Facebook Fans: As of March 21st, 2012 the price of Disney’s PhotoCD will be $169.95. If you're planning to order a PhotoCD, take advantage of the current price and order yours before the 21st of this month."

Phew, pre-ordered mine last week with the photo book. It was $149.99 for both!

Thanks for the heads-up. We always order the Photo CD and the family would like to do the Photobook after doing one for MIL/FIL after last years trip.

Will pre-order this before the hike :)

We will be pre-ordering before the price hike for sure!

Just a quick question,

If i pre-order now does the credit for the CD you get expire or will it still be valid for our trip at the end of August?

Thanks! :)

I have not heard of any expiry on them. We bought last April for August, I will buy again before 21st for this July/August.

Oh wow, that's quite a hike!

If we pre order now, will that still be valid for when we buy the CD or will be only get $99 credit towards the new priced CD?

Just pre ordered anyay but this is what the confirmation email says.

A credit has been added to your cart for your Disney PhotoCD. This credit will remain in your cart until you complete your order. When you have returned from your vacation and completed all of your photo edits and desired layouts, simply add your Disney PhotoCD to your shopping cart and proceed with the check-out process. The credit will be automatically deducted from your order total.

So it does look like a credit of $99.95 has been added to my account, so when the price increase happens we'll have to add the extra on when we order the CD?

You get credited for 1 CD, price doesn't come into it.

This is the price when you at the park, anyone know if they will increase the preorder price?

Thats what it said in January for me but the only addition on ordering was postage.

Just to confirm the credit does not expire. See the wording from my credit below.

It only says on the confirmation 99 credit has been applied.
It says you have paid $99.95 on the invoice but if you read the writing it says 1 credit, here is a copy:
A credit has been added to your cart for your Disney PhotoCD. This credit will not expire, and will remain in your cart until you complete your order. When you have returned from your vacation and completed all of your photo edits and desired layouts, simply add your Disney PhotoCD to your shopping cart from the Photo Products section of the website. The credit will then activate and automatically deduct the cost of the item. Once this step has been completed, your order will be completed, processed and shipped. You will receive a separate notification when your order has been shipped and portions of your order may be shipped separately to expedite the order fulfillment process.

This is the price when you at the park, anyone know if they will increase the preorder price?

Still trying to find out, there was no info earlier when I checked.

Hi all

I want to buy this for my upcoming November trip but I notice on the Photopass site it says that it will be liable for import tax etc (which for the uk is likely to add about 30% to the cost between VAT and durty and any Royal Mail handling fee).

Anyone been stung by the Customs & Excise or is this really a safe bet to order ?

Thanks

J
