Autograph- This book was written by a guy my DH went to high school with. It's very interesting. It is interviews with people who are the last of their generation to experience various parts of history first hand. There is an interview with the last surviving Civil war widow. That type a thing. My DMIL went to one of his book signings and gave us a copy.

Argyle-a sweater I came across in my closet that I forgot I had.

Ice Cream Truck-hoping to get a better one but will use this for now.

Hobby (mine)-scrapbooking. I just started working on our 2007 Disney trip

Awaken- DS3 did not want to wake up the other morning. It was already 9:30! Couldn't believe he slept that late.

Summer concert-These guys play on the beach every Thursday night. They were a lot of fun, they played a lot of Irish drinking songs. Wonder how many people snuck some "drinks" on to the beach!

Thanks Heather. Yes, I think I'm going to head back to the Toorak store and check out the range and pricing. It's about the only store in Melbourne.....and then I'm just going to have to visit the store in Florida Mall when I'm there in October. What a chore that's going to be!


Yes, that is a kite in the photo; and I also got two good close-up shots of the KITE IN FLIGHT when the rider came back into shore and the kite was directly above me. But I already posted one of kite in flight that I got in the park when I was stalking the American Women's Association in Melbourne on July 3rd for independence day celebrations photos .

Lately, I've been trying to get multiple categories in the one photo (did you see the one of MYSELF with the SUNDIAL??). I did say my life was sad at the moment .

There is a shop here in Brisbane that sells Yankee Candle as well - I have checked out their prices and they are quite a bit more expensive than in the US. I guess they have to make some money..!! But it will be worth while to check some of the range of fragrances! Good luck! If you love candles etc you will love these.
I must admit I am seeing sights with multiple categories in each one! I haven't managed to get photos yet, but it is amazing now how I see something and I think automatically - "Oh there's ........ (insert whichever category I haven't got yet)!! I saw a guitarist outside a local coffee shop on the weekend but I didn't have my camera! I drove past and tried to work out how I could get back to get a photo! (unfortunately I couldn't get back, so I missed that one!)
I did like you sundial photos! Very interesting. You are getting out lots! I actually have this weekend off, so I'm planning lots of photography.

My feather-head duster just did it again!

My dryer just tripped and so I had to clean it out and re-set the trip mechanism. This re-trip button lives at the back of the dryer. I eased the dryer from under the counter and was really HAPPY to note that there was a nice grey film of DUST on the white, white top of the dryer.

So I rushed out of the room to get the camera .

In the 30 seconds it took me to grab the camera, DH had walked into the laundry and used his sleeve to wipe the dust away. He's wearing grey today...he was taking his jumper off and putting it in the washing machine as I walked back in the room and stood there with camera in hand absolutely gob-smacked by the spanking clean white, white dryer top!

So, I've rushed here to post this rather than yelling at him!

This became my "torpedo" while at the beach. I had researched the area and knew that it was settled in the 1600's so I knew there had to be one out there! I found several but they were really hard to read the dates on them - especially on the photo, so this is the one I have chosen, the date reads 1798.
