Thank you for sharing Tootsie with us! She's a cutie!

I'd like you to try something. Go into the Menu of your camera and turn the flash off. Then take Tootsie either outside (not too bright) or inside near a good amount of natural light (and you can turn the other lights on). Move in close to her to fill the frame, and then get some close up pics. Without the flash you should be able to see the beauty of her eyes in their normal state, ie without red eye. Once you learn how to do this, you can get some really beautiful shots of her, like some of the others on this page. Hope you don't mind the advice, but it is a photo board so we try to do what we can. Hope you try it and repost. Oh, and PS, get down to her level for some of the shots if you can.

ETA, Ashleigh, try this with Buddy, too! Your shot is nice, but see if you can get one without redeye, too!

Thank you. I feel bad. She didn't always have the best of life before we got her but we gave her 2 good years. I had been hand feeding her towards the end of her life. She died in my hands.

That was awesome that she had those 2 good years. Good for you for rescuing her I hope whoever mistreated her will get theirs someday

I know I've posted before and after pics of Olive before, but it's been a year since she found us...so I thought I'd post another...


The day she showed up starving...

A year later, chilling in her bedroom....

A year later and the other cats still hate her, and she hates them, but when she's out she stays in the kitchen and they hide in my bedroom. When we're not home and at night she gets shut in DD's bedroom so we don't have any cat fights. I think she's happy. I gave her the opportunity to go outside the other day and she turned around and ran back to "her" bedroom!!

thanks for the tips. those were actually taken with my incredible, they looked much better on the phone then on the computer ill try that once she wakes up and post those.
