RIP my feathered friend. We were your 5th home and we hope that we made a difference in your life. I know you blossomed in our care. Fly up to heaven.![]()

Thank you. I feel bad. She didn't always have the best of life before we got her but we gave her 2 good years. I had been hand feeding her towards the end of her life. She died in my hands.

I'd like you to try something. Go into the Menu of your camera and turn the flash off. Then take Tootsie either outside (not too bright) or inside near a good amount of natural light (and you can turn the other lights on). Move in close to her to fill the frame, and then get some close up pics. Without the flash you should be able to see the beauty of her eyes in their normal state, ie without red eye. Once you learn how to do this, you can get some really beautiful shots of her, like some of the others on this page. Hope you don't mind the advice, but it is a photo board so we try to do what we can.Hope you try it and repost. Oh, and PS, get down to her level for some of the shots if you can.
ETA, Ashleigh, try this with Buddy, too! Your shot is nice, but see if you can get one without redeye, too!
