Is this a dachshund puppy? My oldest DD has two of them.

Yes. He's a little over 6 mths old. We got him for DS for his birthday in July. His name is Droopy, but DS just calls him Weiner.

Some good pet news. My parents barn burned last night. Luckily they leave a door open for the 2 goats, mini horse and chickens to go in and out. They all got out on their own

I am still trying to work out what he is actually doing in the 2nd shot - it looks like he is "table skating" (for want of a better phrase!!)
