Here are a couple of shots of our dog, Gizzie, from over the years since we got her as a puppy. She is the true boss of the house and has one of the strongest range of emotions that I have ever seen in a dog.
I call this on her "Bo Derek" shot

Wowsa! I don't think I've ever seen a Shepherd without hair before - I do believe that's a first for me, wait till I show the family! Poor Charlotte!! She is beautiful anyway, and thank goodness it will grow back, lol. I'm glad everything was ok!

I know Linda - she looks really different! I put her as a cross between a German Shepherd, a Great Dane and a kangaroo..!!! Poor thing! But she is well on the way to recovery, albeit a slow road! She is doing a lot of sleeping!

Love your Cav! I have a Blenheim named Penny, and she think she's the boss of the house too! :> I love how outgoing they are. She truly loves every person she meets. Mine just had surgery in October for a luxing patella, although she didn't get a cast. Did Gizzie have that problem too?

She did have that problem! She was less than a year old when she had her surgery. She is now three and hasn't had any issues since!

This one was taken at the same time and doesn't show her leg but I just like the way she is laying there.

That's good to hear. Since our vet didn't use a cast, she had to wear a cone whenever we weren't around for a month, and she was miserable. I'd hate to have to put her through it again.

Oscar does the same thing! He climbed into the suitcase after we returned from WDW last month. Stayed there the whole night.

He has also taken over DD's Build a Bear bed.
