Here's an artsy fartsy (hopefully more artsy) one of a leaf floating in a stream.

Nice, Laura! I'm sad tho'...that those are the last ones!

My kids' marching band performing at a recent contest:

Edit: I noticed several multiples, so I figured I'd add pictures of MY kids. The first shot is still my favorite of the group, I like the color and action.

Here's my little girl:

I still have a hard time believing I helped make something that pretty.

And my boy:

I've been lurking for awhile but got some great pictures today that I'd love to share.

O.K., why don't they show up in the thread? On another board I post on they came up fine. HELP!!

Looks like you used the URL link button rather than the image button. I replaced the 'url' in the brackets with 'img'. They should show that way.

I can finally add to this thread that I started so long ago.

Alpine Flower

Water Fountain

DW and I spent 1.5 weeks in Switzerland at the end of Aug. The flower was on a hike in the Lauterbunnen area and the second was in Murren. These were both shot with the Nikkor 17-55mm f/2.8 lens that I purchased for this trip. I am in love with this lens.

NostalgicDad- Love that shot of the moon, we had clouds here last night so I couldn't see it.

I shot these while out on our fishing boat with my boys Saturday. Living in Central IL we never usually see pelicans, but these must be passing through on a migration route or something. Not sure where they are on the way to or from, and interestingly I've lived here all my life and this is the 1st year we have had pelicans. We saw them back in the spring too, on their way north then I presume, and now going back south. I think I heard someone say they are American pelicans :confused3 ....in the spring they had big knots on the end of their beaks.

It was hard to get focused on these, as our boat was moving. :)
