Went to a birthday party this past weekend at one of those indoor playground things will all the bug HUGE blow up slides and stuff. Terrible lighting and fast moving kids. I did pretty good with my 50mm f/1.8 wide open with ISO between 1600 and 3200.

Went to Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge last weekend. It was overcast and misting rain most of the weekend, so my picture taking was limited. I was sooo sad b/c I was prepared with notes, tripod and lenses. We skipped most of the scenic drives and trails we'd planned b/c of the weather.

Rock Candy, through a window so it's not very good and I haven't got photo shop installed on new laptop either yet.

The one little mile loop walk we did, this was the creek, not too impressive.

On our walk, this was the first official sign of fall. One red leaf!!

The tram that goes to the Ski Lodge, we watched it from our balcony. We rode one evening, but no photo ops in the dark worth mentioning.

Wow! Beautiful!! I wish my lab would pose for a such a shot. She is so difficult when the camera is out! Was that window light?

She loves to follow the sun and snooze in its warmth. With the light this low and soft, she was looking directly into it without squinting.
