Pretty cool. And, nice shot. I have many of the Flamingo as this is where we stayed last year. Not a bad place after all these years.

Flamingo is a pretty cool place. The last time I stayed there was several years ago. I stayed at New York New York on my last trip. I walked the entire strip one night taking photos! This was after my Disneyland trip. I figured my feet were already conditioned from all that walking at the park so I may as well go for it!

A mama and baby humpback whale frolicking just off of Waikiki Beach in Honolulu, Hi...Don't mind the fringing on the right side of the picture. I was right up against a pole. I should have cropped that out.

I like it! Nice blue sky and the bird seems in focus which I'm sure wasn't easy as it was obviously in flight. Good job! What lens did you use?

Well thank you!! I used my 18 - 70 mm. It's the only zoom I have until I get the 70 - 300mm later this year. Taking the NAS slowly..... lol

Danny...my knees are tingly weak just thinking about this great shot. You couldn't drag even my cold dead body up there!!

EVAD.... Love the seagull against the blue sky..crisp..clear. I live with them here at the Jersey shore and can never get a shot like this !!

Loreley is the name of one of the beautiful Rhine Maidens who lured navigators of this river to their dooms with their alluring singing, much as the ancient Greek Sirens did.
Loreley, a beautiful young maiden, committed suicide because of an unfaithful lover. She jumped from the steep rock into the Rhine River, thus killing herself. She then became a siren, luring shipmen to their fates with her hypnotizing voice. The echoing heard today is said to be Loreley.
