Excuse the quality. Bad bowling alley lighting coupled with a DSLR novice.

Can I play?

My first posting of a photo from my new D60 - I am a complete novice, but DH and I are having a ball. We've decided we're going to learn everything we can in the next two months to take better WDW photos than we ever have before, and then we'll go back in November and top them!

So, since the D60 was a birthday present, here is a shot taken with it of roses on my cake. I was going for very focused in front and not so much in the back and although I have no clue how I did it, I was happy enough with how it turned out.

Uhhhhh......we call that a dusting. And you can keep it down there ya'll. I've seen enough of that stuff this year.

Got the D40 out to go outside today and snap a few. The snow had stopped but the wind was blowing pretty bad. This was one of the visitors to the yard.

Couldn't get outside today because of the snow---so instead I took the day taking some shots of our furry family members. This is Snuffaluffagus.

Also snowed here. This was taken this morning from an upstairs window. One of the prettier snows we have seen in a long time.

No real emergency, I guess. They only stayed about 20 minutes.
