Are there really that many photographers around the parks to actually take enough pics of your group to make it worth it to buy the CD?

And I imagine you still take your own camera to get pics with characters and other things, correct? And you can't get those pics loaded on the CD, right?

As of right now the photographers are only in front of the Icons (castle, Spaceship Earth, Hat, and Tree of life) they give you a pass and you can look at the pictures on your way out. and if you want any of them you can get them. Then next day you can hand the pass to another photographer and they will put those pictures on too... I believe eventually you will be able to upload your pass to get ride pictures too

We did use ONE photocard for our entire trip, handing it to each Disney photographer. They are typically at the normal photo spots, but also show up at character sightings as well.

At the end of the trip, we brought the card home and viewed them online. Didn't buy any CD, but liked the option to pick and choose.

Does anyone know how long they store the photopass pic's on the site? thanks!

30 days from when you claim them.

You have 30 days to claim your photos, then they are stored for 30 days. We saw photographers at the 'icon' places mentioned and at every character meet we did. You're not obligated to buy anything, so it really doesn't hurt anything to do some photos and check them out later.

I'd *love* it if they'd develop an option to add your ride photos to the mix. :)

WE had photopass peoplke everywhere!!! With a majority of the characters and in front of main attractions. I like the options but also use my own camera as well.

I liked the option of the photopass, because you can get a picture of everyone in your group without someone getting left out. Which was a plus for me since it was just me and my son. I had his picture made with the photopass photographer, while I was also making my own pictures. I got some really good pictures. Well worth the $99 to get all of your pictures burned onto a CD. In one night I had over 40 pictures put on my photopass.

We were only there for 6 days this time, but our photopass CD had about 87 photos on it. That comes out to just a little over $1 per photo- totally worth it to me! (Although I do wish the CD had the graphics on it so you could add borders and such)

We have 167 photos on our photo pass card. Between the icons and characters and having a 22 month old, we had a lot of pictures taken. The photopass would be well worth it for us!!
