Photo of tinkerbell flying from castle

that's too funny. I knew Mickey was often played by women, but would never guess they'd put a guy in a tinkerbell costume. That's just too funny :rotfl2:

I just knew that Robo's Tinkerbill would strike again :rotfl2: How come I never get tired of seeing that picture :rotfl:

:rotfl2: I think we saw the same Alice. I have got to find the picture & post it. :lmao:

I opened this thread to see the Tinkerbill picture again. I love it!!:rotfl2:

PLEASE find that pic and get it on here. I'm dying to see it!!!!!!

I never get tired of seeing that tinker dude, either!

A CM friend of mine says that Tink USED to be played by a stunt man because it is a dangerous job... But ever since the telephoto lens became common (that picture must be old), it IS a stunt woman now... At least that's what she said!

So, never fear, chances are you saw a woman if you have been lately...

oh no! not again! :lmao:

although, IF tink is played by a man, i highly doubt that disney would let him have facial hair. just sayin'.

I wouldnt worry too much. We saw an Alice in wonderland and I am pretty sure she was a teen he. adams apple and fairly masculines features. If she really was a she I feel for her.
many of the costume characters are played by different folks..so maybe not all Mickey mouses are he's

That's kinda rude to write. Just sayin. Lots of people read these boards. Not so nice to openly offend. I am sure no one would like to read things like that said about them. Alice is a she. End of story. I hate these Tinkerbell threads. They are always so so rude.

really you saw the Alice I did and know she is a she?

and I guess in your world all Mickey mouses are he's?

Who cares if a guy can dress and do the part?
as far as tinkerfellows picture I dont think its a mustache people are seeing. wish i could better enhance the picture I think it is just the mouth and the angle to camera caught it at
how upset should tinkerfellow be if you were calling him a girl when he is a guy? just something to ponder
i think you are making more of the subject than needs to be made.

If 'Tinkerfellow' was supposed to be Tinkerbell then I think he would not be upset at all to hear that people assumed he was what he was set out to be. But I am almost positive it's not a stache

I am only upset that someone would want to post a picture just for everyone to laugh at. I guess I missed where it was acceptable to make fun of CM's that work hard to create magic for Guests.

tink22, I really don't think people here are so much making fun-just surprised-at least I am...realistically I know that the characters may not be the same sex as the actual character, but it is funny to actually "see" it. As far as Tink goes, I also think if this pic is a guy, (sorry I don't see the moustache ???) how shocked some of us are & how some could spot it-we stand under where she flies everytime we are there & I would NEVER think it was a guy-so to see this-it just makes me giggle cuz obviously I was SO wrong.

anyone winging thru the air wearing a lighted costume and on a small cable wire should be prepared for some speculation and at times people poking fun.
lets face it, Tinker bell is make more for her hour of work than i do at a week of work I bet.
She or he has the best chuckle at the end of the day..many admirers , too. In otherwords, not too bad a life even if they need to put up with jokes from folks on these chat groups

Plus you are assuming tinkerfellow even reads these boards and if he does, he is bothered by the comments after all the picture isnt 100% clear there is speculation both ways

I have never seen that picture, but that made me smile from ear to ear..:lmao:

I am not bothered as much by Tink as by the Alice comment. I see no reason to post the photo just for others to laugh at. If you are not making fun then fine but I don't see the point of posting the photo otherwise. Some comments DISers make can be so hurtful.

Let just remember that there are kids that post on these boards that maybe dont realize what you have pointed out yet. Would you like to deal with the fact that your child learned what was really going on over these Discussions??

please, don't post the alice picture. that has already been hashed out and someone who knew HER spoke up about what a sweet person she is.

It has already been established on a previous thread that the Alice in question is a girl by someone who knows her personally. I cannot believe the insensitivity on these boards where people think it's just okay to mock what other people look like and to question their gender identity.

I, too, must admit that I opened this thread simple because I knew mustache-tink's pic would make an appearance. I love seeing the first-time reactions to that pic.
