Note: I'd previously announced that beginning with this contest, prizes would be offered. The moderator of this board has expressed some concern about this so that is currently on hold. I'm trying to work it out and will update when more information is available.

WOW, thank you all for voting for my shot. I'm humbled. There are so many great photographers around these boards. :worship:

I took this shot in AK during one of the few times I was able to "escape" from DW and DS to take some pics on my own. ;)

This guy was playing a Xylophone or Glockenspiel type instrument in Harambe (I had to look up the spellings. :guilty: )
It was mid July, the place was really hot and this CM was dripping with sweat. I supposed I just liked the look of him. :)
I had on a new lens at the time. (A Sigma 70-300mm f something or other).
I zoomed in close and filled the frame. (Just like they tell you in the tutorials)
Actually got a couple of keepers that day. Got some of DeVine I quite like too.

When I got home I converted it from RAW using Lightroom.
In photoshop I sharpened it slightly and cropped it a little then uploaded it HERE

Thanks again. Made my day. :)

Wish I could take some credit for being "creative" with this one. We were at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and walking along the trick-or-treat path in Frontierland by the Liberty Belle. After securing our loot, we continued along the path and noticed this cast member off to our right. So, I quickly grabbed the shot. I honestly can't remember if he was on the boat itself or in the queue area, I think those stair rails behind him are from the boat, but I could be wrong. I must confess, I haven't actually ridden on the Belle in a few years. The camera was on auto and I believe it was the kit 18-55 lens. I cropped it with Picasa and uploaded it.

RTPHokie was kind enough to already include the EXIF info, unfortunately there's not much else to share about this photo. Thanks to everyone that voted for it.

Thanks, everybody! The photos this week are exceptional as usual so I am honored to be a part of this group.
I was walking by a shop in the Animation Courtyard near The Voyage of the Little Mermaid at Hollywood Studios when I saw this cast member carefully spray window cleaner in the Mickey shape. She kindly paused a moment before starting to clean the window so I could take the picture. I loved this photo because she didn't have a glamourous costume or makeup, but instead a special spirit applied to a very ordinary task. I'm so glad other people liked her too!!!
