I had a vision in my head of taking this shot, there wasn't enough room at the top of the outflow to see the water and things in the background like I envisioned. But it turned out ok. This is from the outflow of Blue Hole at Santa Rosa, NM. It's the "local" dive spot that we do OW training for scuba diving. I put a blue gel on the flash to give it some interest.

I think I'm still in time to play! All but the flowers were taken on our recent trip to the Adirondacks. I'm still playing catch up on all the laundry!! All in all, it was a great trip with the whole family - all 26 of us!! Sorry for so many pics, but being gone for most of the month made me want to play catch up!!! TFL!!

OH my gosh that makes me dizzy just looking at the photo - which by the way is a really cool shot!! Was your dd at a dive competition? I hope she did well if she was!!

Now that we're into August, will there be an August Photo Assignment? With the kids heading back to school, I'll have a few hours free in the mornings to actually go and play by myself! I'm hoping for a bit of practice time before we head to DW in September! TIA!
