PHM 2015-In Pursuit of Cupcakes While Running in Glass Slippers

Well now, what ones did you buy? I really want that 19.3 Princess One but keep thinking, what happens if I buy it and for some reason I can't get into the Glass Slipper Challenge?!?!?!
I bought a Red Queen one and a Cheshire Cat one. I live Alice in Wonderland. Plus I have the perfect hat for the Red Queen for my TOT run. Plus it will go with my American Graphitti Sparkle Skirt for the 4th.

You will totally get that glass slipper! We'll all get together and carry you if need be!

The only thing with the mileage ones is I would feel weird wearing them for other races like 5Ks.

Anyone who has ordered from Raw Threads know why everytime I try to add something to my cart, even if I choose my size it says "See Product Options" and won't add it? I can not figure out what I'm doing wrong?!?

Try a different browser. Also if you use code rawrun10 you get an extra 10%

You girls make me laugh! Darn it I just bought a prom dress for Ab and raw threads has a sale! Just my luck!

Hmmm...what are thinking?

Well...for the 5K I can either go in on the Good Fairy thing with you (make it pink!) OR I will do Cheshire Cat. I have most of the stuff for that already since I *almost* did Cheshire for the 5K, but then switched to Nemo inspired.

For the 10K, I am thinking possibly Goofy. I have a Goofy costume I had bought a while back for a race that benefitted a dog rescue company, but then I couldn't do the race because of schedule conflict. So I have this adorable Goofy costume sitting around. Since I have pushed back doing Goofy at marathon weekend until 2016, I *might* do this costume then.

For the half I have a few ideas in my head, but nothing definite & nothing I am ready to share yet. I will NOT be a princess for the half marathon, that is all I can say.

Way to recycle or finally break out the unused costumes. Trying to figure out now what to plan...since I have my costumes picked out. Just have to make them...but then again that has to wait until this fall...darn Europe trip is really messing up my Disney funds!

I like the idea of Cheshire cat...fun colors...and you can't go wrong with Goofy!

I guess I just need to plan my outfits for each day! :rotfl2: Or maybe I should look at what touring plans has to say for each day best park...or maybe I should get an outline going with major events for each day!

Remind me again that I was planning to go and get a run in tonight...

I am officially sick of the wind and we have just gotten started...2 more months of this at least and we need rain! The wind has been blowing a constant 30-50 mph for the last week...and gusting upwards to 70 mph!

I guess I should look like it this way...resistance training one way and pushing to a faster pace the other way!

Yuck! Just be careful and take an allergy pill before you hit the sack. All that dust would have me sneezing and coughing for days

Just got a text from the weather service...Dust Storm warning...DUH...looks like no running for me tonight! Times like this I need a treadmill, so not getting in the car and driving across town to the gym either!

That sucks!

I'm worried I won't be able to get much road running in place during August or September b/c this was my front yard in the middle of September last year.

I *may* have looked at Touring Plans today myself :rolleyes1 The crowds were quite manageable last month when we were there. I had already taken care of our FP+ (Space Mtn, BTMRR, Buzz) so we just found some rides with shorter waits & used those as filler (Haunted Mansion, Mad Tea Party, Buzz, People Mover, Carousel of Progress, Speedway). Looks like preliminary crowd trackers on Touring Plans are showing similar numbers for next year.

Disney is the only place where I can plan & plan for months upon end & never get tired of it.

I have so much fun planning the costumes! I am trying to decide for sure what I want to do for RnR Vegas. I have a few ideas. Speaking of which, I think you can register for that one starting next month sometime. I got in on that 1 day where it was $99, so I am already registered.

My husband just sent me similar pics from Hunter's soccer practice tonight. It looked like it was raining out there it was so dusty. I took the kids to the park this afternoon & it was windy out there, but not dusty really. As soon as we got back home it was crazy windy & looked brown outside because of all the dirt & dust flying around.

WOW...is that stuff water? :rotfl2: Trying to be funny it has been so long since we have seen any form of H2O around here! I guess we could be extreme the other way like you! How long did that take to dry out? I imagine lots of wet feet trying to run!

We should be called the windy city, as Chicago has nothing on us. And in the spring this is life...but with the drought we have to deal with the dust storms the last few years. So most of the time I just pull up my big girl panties and get out there...a trip to WDW does weird things to your motivation to run and train! :rotfl2:

It took almost 3 weeks after the rains stopped to have the front yard/roads fully dried out. There were 2 months there where we had rain every day so the ground was saturated. That particular weekend we were under heavy 'red' on radar for 2 days straight. My husband had to have someone pick him up to go to work as their was no way his car could get through that much water.

How did I celebrate the first day of spring...

With a windy run! But at least I got out there and ran tonight. Ankle and shins felt good!:goodvibes
