Philamagic and Wishes

I've been reading all the great things about the new Philamagic. Is fast pass available? Any other recommendations on lines and wait times?
Does Wishes take place over the castle similar to Fantasy in the Sky? We're trying to figure out where to view it and we've always watched Fantasy from the front - near Crystal Palace.

Philharmagic has fast pass.. I have not seen Wishes yet. I am assuming it is over the castle also.

We saw Philharmagic twice last week and each time did NOT have to fast pass. Be sure you go to this- it is wonderful. AS for Wishes- the best place for you to stand for this would be half way down mainstreet in the middle of the road. The fireworks are lit from all around the castle- it is beautiful and easy to see even if people are directly in front of you.

Thanks for your advise about where to view WIshes! I'll be going 2 weeks from tomorrow and was wondering about where to see it. I'm so excited!

we are just back too...

agree with wishes mid main street...first night we were in front of the castle and it seemed way to close to appreciate...much better with full panoramic view of castle...they are not lit from all around the park as I anticipated but are from side to side of the castle...AMAZING fireworks not to be missed

they do have fast pass for Philharmagic, but everytime we were near when we saw the line starting to move we got on the end of the line and got in each time...it is a great show!!

Do you think that the Trainstation Platform would be a great place to take photos of Wishes?

I want to do some nightime shots of the castle and thought this might work? Any thoughts?

i agree about wishes, main street would be the best. Philharmagic was wonderful, my DW favorite thing all week, we saw it four times. IF you go in the morning you will not need fastpass, save them for attractions with longer waits.

the trainstation platform will work only if you get there VERY early and sit right on the outside edge of it. We were there an hour early for Wishes and it was full! Anywhere else on the platform will not work for you because the platform has and overhang that covers up the seating area- ya know- for shade and rain protection. If you were under that, it would block your view of most of the fireworks. the middle of the street is really the best place. I got some fantastic pics of the fireworks from there!

We have always stood on the walkway to tomorrowland so tinkerbell could fly over us. Is this still an ok spot?

I can't really tell you if that spot would be alright or not. My best guess is that you would maybe miss, or at least have to turn around to see, some of the fireworks to the right of the castle and back of you if stood there- but it might be an ok spot. The fireworks encompass a wide area- they are no longer shot up from directly behind the castle. They are shot from behind the castle and to the left and the right of the castle. Standing too close to the castle would limit your viewing of the fireworks as well. Maybe someone else that has stood over in tommorrowland under where Tinkerbell flies can answer better for you.
