During our upcoming trip, our arrival day is too short to justify a shot at the parks. We were thinking that the younger ones in our party may enjoy spending that day at the FW petting barn, but we are not staying at FW or anywhere on Disney property.

My question is, is the Petting Barn (or any of the other FW activities) available to non-resort guests?

I appreciate any respond. Thank you.

Yes it is. You can park at the FW lot and take a bus or park at the WL or the CR and take a boat to FW.

There is also the barn where they keep horses and the ponies that pull Cindy's coach.

If you are lucky you can watch some of the horses being shoed and they also have pony rides. The beach and the Nature Trail are also very nice. The marina is there if you would like to rent a boat.

There is also a Campfire sing-along program at night which features appearances by Chip and Dale and is followed by a Disney movie.

PS Always see you on IOA-USF boards; welcome!

Thank you for this information. My neices and nefew will appreciate it (and me too, I'm sure).

Maybe now you'll understand my recent odd post at the USO board better. Hehehe.

Thanks again.
