Pets Named After Disney Characters

My one year old Min Pin's name is Meeko (Raccoon from Pocahontas), but she's a girl. Over Christmas I was talking to my cousin that named her cat Meeko. Neither of us knew the other had named our pet the same name.

Our dog isn't named after a Disney character but a Disney restaurant. Her name is Jiko.

Knew people that named their pets after characters in the Jungle Book, the had a black cat named Bagheera, a Mastiff named Baloo and Belgian Teuveren (sp?) named Akela. I always thought it was a cool idea.

My nieces named their dog Yzma

We just named our miniature schnauzer puppy Indie Anna, after Indiana Jones. I guess it is not really a Disney name, but the Indiana show at Hollywood Studios is my sons' favorite show.

We have a St. Bernard mix named Nana.

She's got the look down pat too! It's always followed by the kids saying "Pooooor Nana"

We have a Pom named Tod (Fox & Hound) and my daughter has a rat named
Remy.

My niece named her dog Nana. She looks to be a yellow lab, some type of spitz mix to me.

I have a friend that has a white poodle named Minnie.

My 2 dogs are inadvertently named after things found in WDW, Kona (cafe) and Kali (river rapids).

We always said if we got another animal we'd name it Stitch....but we had 2 babies instead...and Stitch just didn't look right on a Birth Certificate

We have a JRT named Dash and it really is the perfect name for him, he will be 4 this summer and there are no signs yet of him slowing down.

My brother has a dog named Nana and they used to have a Tinkerbell, weird thing is both dogs came to them with the names already.
