Smucker's Uncrustables are wonderful!!!

I've seen them on the menus in the Parks and on DCL room service menu but since they were on the children't menu I never paid them much attention. But Uncrustables were on sale at the grocery store the other day so I tossed a box in my cart. Now I am hooked and may never make another regular PB&J sandwich again!!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: I had no idea what I was missing - thanks Pete!!!

I used to have to spend about 20 min (as breakfast, keeping in mind this is before i "wake up") total making 2 sandwiches, (getting the stuff out, making it, clean up) Now, 20 sec, and im done!

Although they are amazingly convenient and tasty, I can make about 20 pbj's for the cost of one box of Uncrustables.

I do buy them when I'm in Disney though because it's tough getting those jars of PB & J on the plane. ;)

Uncrustables are tasty and convenient, but just be aware of the amount of calories and fat; they're not the healthiest thing to eat. :)

Sorry, they make me gag -- too much peanut butter. Plus I guess I must be a weirdo because the crust is my favorite part of the bread. :thumbsup2

What's funny is that I used to think the idea was gross, but now that the gang says they like them I've tried them and like them too! But I can only have them as a snack, they wouldn't fill me up!

I always take Uncrustables on the plane with us when we travel. I leave them in the freezer until it's time to leave for the airport. My kids (and dh too) will eat these during the flight! We've done this 4 or 5 times and have never had a problem with them getting squished (of course, I do my best to keep them on the top of my carry-on just in case).

has anyone else tired the Grilled Cheese uncrustables? I love em. eat them thawed or microwave them. their my fave.
their used to be peanut butter and honey and just pb too. I miss the honey ones

I love eating them half frozen with the nice cold peanut butter! I only buy them on sale though, they're so expensive!

Too much Peanut Butter :scared1: thats crazy talk! My PB&J consist of 9 parts PB and 1 small park J, just enough to give it color....

DH and I always get two of the big boxes of them now since we tried them after listening to the show. DH likes the strawberry jam ones and I get the grape jelly ones. It works out great for me and my diet. I have one sandwich, some salad, and diet soda and I'm good for lunch. I keep my calories down to 300 for the meal. :thumbsup2
I've lost 85 pounds so far this year.

Congratulations on your weight loss! Keep up the good work.:cool1:

I thought maybe Pete was also doing the Smuckers Uncrustables Bzz Campampaign! It just so happens right after Pete was talking about uncrustables, I got an email from BzzAgent to sign up for this campaign! Coincidence? I know I signed right up!

We heard Pete talk about how much he liked them at the conceirge in the Poly... and they had them at the BC-lounge too. We loved them! Yummy - and such a comfort food.

We picked a couple boxes up on sale the other day at Marsh (2 for $4) and I've been having them as an elevensie's.

I love Uncrustables - eat them for breakfast. What is nice about them is that I know the calorie count of them, when I make a PB&J it is usually more than the Uncrustable. The grilled cheese is ok in a pinch but not a substitute for the real thing. You need to be careful eating the grilled cheese - it needs to be heated enough to make cheese melt but you need to let it cool down or you burn your tongue.

There is also a peanut butter and honey version on wheat bread - this needs to have apples stuffed in it preferably granny smith ones otherwise this lovely concoction is too sweet.

Are the Honey ones still out?. I haven't seen them here in a while.

DD loves to have uncrustables when we are at the parks. Her school is nut-free so I make her jam sandwiches & use a cookie cutter to make it a home-made uncrustable. still has the almost sealed edges and I can use seasonal cookie cutters. She was sad that the mickey head cutter is too big.
(if you cut up the bologna & stack it in the middle, you can make a bologna uncrustable too!)
