I love the something blue on your shoes...I'd love to do something like that but Im wearin fats so its not going to work!

Cant help with the tan lines Im afraid...its not something I usually have to worry about as I dont tan...ever!!

Holy cow! I get married (again ) in 30 days!!!
Leaving in 26!!! YIKES!!!

Ok momentary panic attack...talked to mom today she said she hopes I don't turn into bridezilla-um I haven't been so far and anything that I have been a bit crazy about is to be expected...b/c I already forewarned everyone that certain things would drive me bridezilla!!! So HA!

Ok that is all for now...just need to finish our vows, order tuxes, pay for hair and make-up, dress steaming, and order some tops...I think that's it...holy cow...what am I going to do when this is over????

I'm going strapless with lots of sun screen the week before the wedding, but if you're a bit self concious then maybe a long sleeved shirt is the way to go.

I love your mail outs! I'd do something like that, but I know everyone would leave all the stuff at home.

I can't believe you're so close! I love your something blue. I tried to do that but for some reason thought the hot fix crystals would stick to the bottom if I tried to iron them on... not so much .

Good luck with avoiding tan lines, I wish I had thought of that in advance. I would start tanning now if you plan on tanning. Don't do it the week before the wedding like I did, I got a horrible burn but only on my back. Then at Disney I neglected to wear sunblock and had awesome tank top lines , yeah, I don't really know what I was thinking. You can only really tell in a few pictures though, so it wasn't such a big deal, but I do wish I had been on top of that.

When I had my graduation party my SIL held onto the invite to make sure she showed up at the right time blah blah blah...so, I'm guessing she will be the cruise director for their family...I could be wrong but what ever. The way I see it is that I've made the effort to put these things together. I've done my duty as a hostess...There isn't a whole lot they can say "well we didn't know." If they forget to bring the stuff with them-it's their issue not mine. That might sound harsh-but you can lead a horse to water-you can't necessarily make it drink. I'll probably make up extra wedding timelines just so that I know what is going to happen the day of the wedding. As far as getting them from point A to point B should they miss their connections-DH will have to deal with that...I can't give directions to save my life.
My parents will be bringing everything with them...my mom even said she wants a day where we go through everything and make sure we have everything packed and ready to go...So, I don't have to worry about them. They have been all about when where and how much the entire time. They aren't about to forget directions, times or anything like that.

When are you going on the Alaskan Cruise? DH and I are thinking of going in August, since we don't think we can get enough time off for the Med.

My DH and I are trying to go on the Alaskan Cruise on Aug 23. We won`t know until December if DH can get the time off or not but as soon as we know if he can get the time we`re booking the cruise and if he can`t get enough time for that we`re going to Disneyland as DH has never been.

We leave in 24 days...and the starter on my car is starting to go So, gonna have to dish out $$ for that I still have other things I have to purchase...This sucks...oh well such is life...won't stop me from having a great time...but still...I hate coming back to bills

Anyway...gonna order tuxes today. DONE!
Gonna mail out the final mailing (finally!) DONE!
Gotta order some tube top like tops (not happy about this but what ever...I'm anti tan line) DONE-only ordered 1...but what ever...it will work out I am sure!
And gotta find out a little more about tanning in general and get that underway...
Need to start packing too..AUGH!
Would like to find a little black dress...not sure that I will but I can at least try. (shopping with mom on Sunday!)

I have Misty Miotto as a wedding photographer. I love her work and her and her husband Nelio have been wonderful...Until...today. I had sent them my BEO at their request to see our time line. During previous conversations with Misty, she said that she wants to be there 4 hours before hand...and well...honestly...I can't do that...My package is only 6 hours and I want more of the event. Yes, I want the details but know that I'm not going to get a ton of getting ready pics blah blah blah...I explain to her that I understand that but I'm not going to worry about loosing a bulk of my photography time to miscellaneous stuff. (after all...how many pictures of shoes, the room, the dress...with one bride...one mother of the bride...do you need?)
So, Misty says she can do it in 2 hours...That seems like a good compromise. I've put together my time line with that in mind. AND added an extra hour to make sure that we get fireworks photos. So, 7 hours of photography total.
The timeline looks like this...

Now...I get an email from Nelio today saying "Usually we like to start shooting 3 hours before the ceremony that way we get all the bridal shoots and formal pictures before the ceremony that way once you are married we don't have to separate you two.
Anyways, we will be available today and tomorrow all day if you want to give us a call so we can talk a little more about your day."

Pure dread...total dread...I understand what THEY want to do...but I'm sorry...I CAN'T AFFORD IT! Nor am I going to ask DH if we can toss in another hour...I've already tossed in one hour...AND I'm not wasting my photography time on a gazillion getting ready shots...yes.the traditional ones...mom tying my corset..but really nothing super huge.

Now look at our timeline...2 hours is plenty of time..then 30-45 minutes for us after the ceremony...I'm wasting...at least an hour while we eat dinner...and providing a meal for them...then there is another hour to get photographs of us later in the timeline...

Part of me wants to scream I CAN'T AFFORD ANYMORE MONEY FOR PHOTOGRAPHY...but then I don't want them to get mad at me for being bridezilla-ish...after all they do hold the power over my photos... AUGH! So, I'm going to call them tomorrow explain the situation..and hope to god that they are quick on the shutter and this works out...I'm so frustrated!

the interesting part is that when I sent my BEO I sent it to BOTH Misty and Nelio...Misty replied with "I just emailed Nelio he will get back with you today. He manages all the paperwork but if you have any questions about pictures just give me a call. Can't wait to work with you!"

At this point I'm kind of dreading working with them b/c I don't want to get into a knock down drag out fight over this (I'm sure I'm over dramatizing this b/c I'm worried...this is the one part that I am really looking forward to during the wedding...)

I also understand the husband/wife lack of communication bit...but sheesh! Nothing personal...but this is business...*panic* I'll keep you posted...

On a totally unrelated note...I got my first gift from Disney Honeymoon Registry just as I was posting this!!!

At one point I remember asking Tanis if we had enough time between the ceremony at 5 and 6 for cake and stuff and her reply was "It's only you. The guest list is small...don't worry about it."
I love details. I really do...but I don't need 3 hours worth.
Yes. i have the hanger with my name in it...yes..the rings...the compilation of accessories, the dress, mom getting me into the dress...does not take 45 minutes...then we will be meeting DH...and then we have another 1 hour and 15 minutes.
I'm calling them today to see what the deal is.
