Thank you! We adore her. She's very sweet. We found it very hard to believe that she was the last puppy left--the family had almost decided to stop advertising and keep her since she was such a sweet dog.
Tigger was the same way. My DH saw him at the SPCA and wanted him, but it was 2 weeks before we were able to get back there. We couldn't believe he was still there. He was a beautiful kitten and I fell in love instantly!
And an amusing aside: A woman in DH office misunderstood Tacy's name and thought we named her 'Tasty', so we affectionately call her 'our little tasty pup'.
Wow! These shots are incredible. How someone could pass up some of these faces...
It's why I don't go visit shelters or pet stores...
Actually, truth be told, we used to go to Petsmart every weekend just to look at the kittens and cats, and I keep wavering about getting another. My cat is pretty large, and has been on her own for 7 years, so I'm not sure she'd take to an interloper. We'd have to get a grown cat, I think, or we'd be naming the new kitten "Snack"
How far along? Well, I'm in the middle of resizing some of the photos, trying the fix the "pet eye" on some photos, and have started the collage of those pets who are no longer with us. I'm also searching for "pet" quotes...
Still collecting photos, and oohing and ahhing over our "pet of the month" choices...
Here is my cat and dog. Cat found me and decided that she would keep me. She actually showed up on my doorstep about 9 years ago. BEST cat I've ever had.
