pet a monkey?

Does anyone know of a place or location that a person might get to pet a monkey?

At Disney? No.

You might be able to find that at the Central Florida Zoo up in Sanford or at someplace like Gatorland.

We got to pet a monkey at Animal Kingdom last May. When they do their opening ceremony and open the gates in the morning, they sometimes have CMs out there with animals. They tell you about the animal, answer questions, etc. There was a guy with a monkey when we were there and we got to pet him. I think it just depends on the day, though.

Any particular reason you want to pet a monkey?

DBF and I would love to pet a monkey, too!! We're both huge monkey fans (probably him moreso than me) and that would just be a lot of fun, something that you can't find many places. We have stuffed monkeys, monkey pens, he has lamps, paintings, etc. Thanks for the info.

You did better than we did! When we walked into Animal Kingdom in May, the CM showed us a scorpion and then told us that was the type commonly found in Florida!

I would much rather have petted a monkey.
