Deleted.....drama's over
Oh come on. More excuses.Called ID office.....they don't take my insurance! I could just spit, I am so mad that I have wasted all of this time on an office that doesn't even take my insurance. I assumed that they did because I asked my doc for the name of someone on my plan. So, back to square one.
I have a call into another specialist that "the wall" told me might take my insurance. I emailed Deb and told her that I was not too happy. I asked that she fax over my notes and labs to the new ID doc's office and CALL THEM to get me in ASAP.
This is just exhausting and on top of that, I have to be at work in 2 hours.Maggie

Sad isn't it!!!!Oh come on. More excuses.![]()
Btw...YOU are 'the wall'. You are the one keeping yourself from treatment. Time to start taking some personal responsibility for this.

You know, I never even considered boarding the dogs until you brought it up. DUH! That would solve the problem, but it also creates another bill. I looked online at the hospital claim and I am going to have to pay out over $1500 to the hospital for my 3 night/4 day stay.I am really glad that Disney is already paid for! Maggie
In case you need help finding a place to board the pets.

Next excuse? I used to handle insurance issues for a doctors office, want me to call yours and get the ball rolling, enough is enough, you need to get this handled - NOW!
You are obviously not super concerned, or you would take action. So, it's pretty much ridiculous for anyone here to waste their time or energy pleading with you to do what any sane person would do or offering solutions you don't want to hear. You have an excuse for everything offered.

If you're that concerned about your leg then you would stop worrying about the money. Honestly, your main concern should be your leg. Plus, I thought you said Gabby had some great job & "the money was nice"..............You know, I never even considered boarding the dogs until you brought it up. DUH! I can't imagine Maggie playing a hoax, and I bet right now she's regretting posting personal information on the forums. We don't know all the details of her situation, just what she's shared (and print is such an incomplete way of communication at best) and I think it's pretty unfair to start arbitrarily tossing around assumptions and accusations. Maybe she's not handling things the way some of you would, but there's no need to be mean.
Maggie, I hope you're working things out and feeling better really soon![]()
I don't think anyone is being mean. I would describe it as frustration. There has been a concerted effort to offer suggestions, personal experiences, links to kennels, and they have been met with excuses. I think posters are frustrated and just wonder why someone wouldn't do more to help themselves, or why the people around them wouldn't rally to their aid.
So, is it possible to post a picture of your leg? I am a wound care nurse, and am very interested in what the leg looks like. Maybe then, we would be able to assess the situation a little better.
