Perhaps old news but...

I just called to modify my December reservation and was told by a great CM named Nikki Marie that CBR wouldn't be reopening until the first of the new year 2003. I had heard mid-December.

I cancelled my WL courtyard view (with AP discount) for the dates 12/13-19. If anyone wants to try for it with code CKN go for it! I'm now going solo, so for financial reason switched to the ASMu, preferred view, and got the AP discount there.

I had a feeling. I work as an outside agent for a travel agency, and when I tried to book a room for a client in later December, the CM told me that they were still blocked from booking the resort. This was about three weeks ago. Luckily, since this client was my husbands boss, I was able to get him into POR!

Tink: I tried POR and FQ but was told there was no room at the inn for my dates at the code rate. Does your system say the same thing? I'd really prefer a moderate.

Thanks,

Joyce

If you're a DC member, keep trying every few days for the AP rate for both POFQ and POR, but keep your ressies for AS. You never know when someone might cancel their ressie and some rooms open up. That's what I'm doing for POFQ...I have a good rate but am trying for an AP rate!!! :smooth:

Even if it is old news hadn't heard it so thanks! Looking for ressies for DD over Christmas and that's his favorite Oh Well!

Joyce, once you cancel a ressie with a code, it goes back into the system as a rack rate room, so no one else will be able to take advantage of the code rate that you just cancelled.:(

Don't worry Joyce if there are enough non-booked rooms they will come out with another code LOL!
