Perhaps it's a generational difference?

My DFi has a hairy chest and back...I've shaved his back for him several times. I don't mind it at all and I like his chest! He just doesn't like when it sticks out of the top of his t-shirts on the back. So I trim that for him once in awhile too. He is a mild manscaper I guess. He trims "down there" too.

I'm not into the hairless guys. It's odd and a little too much like those freaky hairless cats!

THEY MAKE NAIR FOR MEN????? I'm am lacing up my sneakers and RUNNING to the store! :rotfl2:

I don't know if they make Nair specifically for men but I can't see why they couldn't use the Nair made for women.

There are many, many women who would disagree on this point. There have been many DIS polls in the past which indicate many women have to shave daily. Why would it be different for men?

It probably depends where you are shaving. A face is much different than a back, for instance. I would think that for most men, if they shaved their back one day, it wouldn't completely grow back by the next day. So, I can't imagine that most men would have to shave their back daily once they start. Also, it is kept covered a great deal of the time so, unless a man is really anal, I don't think he needs it shaved bald constantly.

Anyone interested in the Nair for Men can go check it out here:

The advantage to using this instead of the one designed for women is that men's hair is usually thicker and coarser than women's so it's meant to handle that better.

They just want to be as beautiful as we are. You can hardly blame them. :goodvibes:

I love that my big hairy husband has no desire to "be beautiful".
I'll take back hair over an overly groomed pretty boy any day!:rotfl:

Maybe I should give this a try on my legs. I've never had any luck with the regular Nair.

BTW, does anyone else get really scared of the overly waxed eyebrow guys, they often have that dayglow orange tanning bed look to go w/ the brows!:scared1:

I was just checking in to see if there was a "Mangroomer" report yet. I've actually heard really good things about it, but I was curious to hear how it works/worked for BillSears. :)

Thankfully DH isn't too hairy. He has a little bit of chest hair and it is the perfect amount. Not too hairy, not too bare, just right :thumbsup2

There was this boy in high school (ok I use the word boy loosely cause he looked like a 30 yr old man) that always wore tank tops. He had hair peeking out from the front, back and sides! Eww it was gross and he just loved me. The feeling was not mutual.

I would like to know too. DH really wants to get one.

I just found this thread and glad it came back! A question and a comment.

How did it make it to page 7 with no mention of the Seinfeld episode?

At least no one mentioned using the Flowbee on their manhair.

BTW I do know a dad in our group, he manscapes body, shaves head........

Tell Mr. Smith I shaved one arm tonight, just to kinda ease into the concept. It feels remarkably like chicken.
