My wife's co-worker is sporting a look with which I am unfamiliar. He has shaved his arms and spent some time in the tanning bed. I thought maybe he was a body builder or swimmer, but he says no. Is this a new look for the 20-something crowd?
I knew a couple Gen X guys who used to engage in a bit of "manscaping". With all the tats and piercings at the time, it seemed kinda meaningless to ask about the tanning and shaved arms...
Maybe he had alot of hair on his arms, had them waxed, then went to the tanning bed to even out his skin, (says the Greek and Italian girl)...not that I would know
I'm a massage therapist and I can tell you body hair isn't really "in" right now. Most of my 20 something clients shave or wax their chest, back and usually arms.
Since I'm not a fan of body hair, I'm good with that trend! Makes life easier for me professionally as well.

manscaping Well, that's a new one -- it seems I learn something new every day here on the DIS. That said, I better tell DH he is DEFINITELY NOT "in." For some reason, I don't think he will find the need to be "in."
