Perfect Disney Bag

I got the ebags Piazza for our trip and I loved it. I got the chestnut color because I wanted DH to carry it sometimes!
I was able to use it on my shoulder, as a sling, and also it was great to hang on the stroller sometimes. It was big enough for my camera and a few snacks. What else I really liked is that it had a bottle pocket and even though it looked too small, it did work fine for a regular water bottle. There were lots of little pockets I didn't use.

I absolutely LOVED this bag on my last trip. I like the Baggallini messenger everyone talked about, but I'm not good with the strap across my chest. This one had fabulous organization and could be either cross-body or on the shoulder. Best bag ever!

PS Watch for sales on ebags, I got mine for under $30.

I know this isn't the norm but I use a turtle bag. My daughter is turtle crazy and it holds everything! Plus being short it's easy for my husband to spot the backpack in a crowd. I carry 3 bottles of water, 2 ponchos, vouchers, glowstick wands, wipes, wallet, fan, suntan lotion, a small first aid kit and still has space for my camera. It's not heavy at all and can is easy to wear on the rides. Pal Mickey hangs out on the strap and I have my hands free for whatever I will need. I'm sure I would look odd if I didn't have my 3 year old with me :). Here are pictures of the bag:

Another vote for ebags piazza. I just bought the sunset colored bag and love it. Tons of pockets, all but one zip closed. Wide shoulder strap, no shifting around. I used it at Conner Prairie here in Indiana this month and it held my wallet and keys, water bottle, video camera, small camera, 2 snack packs (100 calorie pack size) for the kids, map, sunglasses, small bottle of tylenol and still had room for more.

I've tried everything I can think of to get a Vera Bradley Hipster shipped to Canada (I love them too!). I contacted Ebags, and was told there is a import restriction on them, and they can not be shipped to Canada. Which is a royal pain in the @$#! but there's no other way to get one up in the great white north (believe me I tried!)

www.qvc.com ships to Canada. Try them. I do not know what they have in stock at this time.

the Vera Bradley Mini-Hipster....I can't wait to get it....I don't need to carry much in the parks as we will have a bag on the back on my newphew's chair....but need something small incase in a store and everyone else waits outside.....so this is just perfect even to take on short vacations...Thanks for all the great advice...

I am trying to figure out what I need to take for our Feb. trip. I have a 3 yo and 1 yo, so I will have a diaper bag. Will I need a smaller bag too? I was thinking I may need one for tickets and such???? Is there a good diaper bag for disney? Would love any tips. :)

That's it, I'm sold! I'm buying a VB Hipster at the end of the month when I get paid. ('Cept i'll be going the eBay route to save a few bucks! :thumbsup2 ) So happy that I found this thread!

Any Pooh-Sized ladies use the VB Hipster? I'm wondering if the strap will be long enough when adjusted all the way out to be comfortable.

I also have photos and reviews here:

And many, many people with hipsters to answer your questions... There are photos of people wearing the hipster, as well.

Otherwise, posting in one of the VB threads like S.C. said, might get a better response, as well. :)

Does the Sherpani have a nice soft strap? I have an Eddie Bauer bag I love but the strap rubs my neck.

The Sherpani I have did rub my neck... after a day at the Mall of America with it rubbing my neck raw - I decided that it would never survive a week at WDW... That's what brought me to my Vera Bradley Hipster - it was almost the same size as my Sherpani, but the straps are so comfortable.

I don't know which Sherpani you have, so I don't know what your straps are made of - the one I have has straps that are woven, similar to seat belt material.

I will have a small diaper bag in the stroller but will need a bag for money, passes, sun glasses and some other small things. I will most likely have my camera bag attached to the stroller so I won't have to carry that all the time.

I am going to look at the VB hipster..............:surfweb:

Pooh-sized and shaped here! The Hipster is fabulous and works great on my body. I worry about strap length too, but this is just the right size - with room to spare

Going to look into the VB hipster - though also like the messenger bag.

Only concern is... I need lots of zippered sections inside.

Had a black long strapped bag I used on one trip - inside had a bunch of zippered sections - just made it easy - camera and camcorder in one part, cell phone, autograph book and pen - but little zippered sections so I need our KTTW cards - there they are - need money - it's own section, need photopass card or son's GAC - there it is in its section, with no worry of going in to grab one thing and accidently dropping something else out of the bag - and also, is so nice to not have to dig around a bag for stuff - so easy to grab it from the section it's in.

But then.... day 2 into our trip - strap broke!! Ended up the best I could do was in DHS buying a messenger bag - stuck my entire purse in the messenger bag. Worked great, plus had added security of purse being zipped up inside the closed messenger bag.
Problem - it was a hot pink sharpay bag with big gold strap - not even my tween girls would want this bag:rotfl:
But it worked perfect for me!

Now I use a black messenger bag with Tink on it from Walmart clearance for $5 - simple, just zips closed at top and my original purse with the many zippered sections fits right into it.

But am always looking for something better and nicer!

Baggallini has a lot of zippered compartments Stitch - you may want to check those out also (eBags has a good selection)

For my DS(2) rather than carry a diaper bag I had a gallon size ziploc bag in the stroller bag with his diapers, wipes, and changing pads. That way I didn't have to worry about the bag being stolen from an unattended stroller while we were on a ride, and I also didn't have to carry the bag with me. I carried the Baggalini bag below and had plenty of room for sunscreen (as previously posted on a caribiner clip), camera, video camera, my Passporter book, bubbles to keep him occupied while waiting in line, a couple of cars, Tums, Tylenol, childrens Tylenol, my full wallet, a couple of snack bars, and a water bottle.

Here's the link to the one I bought.
