Chapter 1 - Beginnings

Hello fellow DISers! Welcome to what will be my first trip report! I’m going to start off with a little background info. So here’s how it goes. I’ll start with the cast of characters (and I do mean characters).

Me/Lynda/PrincessLynda/Disneyfreak92/Cookieface/Hey you - I am a lifelong Disney fan. Yes, lifelong. I have pictures of myself as an infant with Disney paraphernalia. My first trip was when I was 7, back in 1981, back when the Magic Kingdom was the only park. I have some very vivid and happy memories from this trip. :goodvibes It would be 10 years before I would make it back. I was 17 on my second trip, and now it is 1991 and there are 3 parks. We went to all the parks as well as Universal Studios, Clearwater Beach and Tarpon Springs. What a trip! If my Disney obsession had needed rekindling, this trip would have done it. But like I said, lifelong Disney fan. So the obsession just intensifies. It was on this trip that I decided I wanted to be a director. (This did not happen. After 2 years of film school, costs became an issue, and I pursued other interests. Although now, 12 years later (Yikes! :scared1: Can that be right?!?) I am working towards having my own photography business.) In 2002, I was married to my DH  , and where do you think we went on our honeymoon? Oh yes, the happiest place on earth.

DH/Josh/pengin/penguin77/Joshie - Was he a fan of Disney when I met him? Sure - in that totally non-obsessed, extremely casual, I-like-Disney-movies, kind of way. Does that even count? He had never been to WDW! Well, the important thing is he was open to the WDW honeymoon, which is good because there is no way I am going anywhere else. And since it had been another 10 years since I had been to the World, and I am a planner and this is my honeymoon, I am doing it up right! Will he convert to a totally obsessed, full-blown addiction, let’s-move-to-Disney kind of fan? I’ll get to that in a bit. ;)

My Mom/DM - The woman who originally brought me to Disney, who we brought to Disney last February, and who, when she doesn’t go to Disney with us, watches our cat, Oliver and on this upcoming trip, our 7-month-old puppy, Jasper.

Oliver - our 3-yr-old, fat, lazy, fluffy, needy, lovable, soft, orange and white cat who we adopted from the shelter just over a year ago. :cat:

Jasper - our 7-mo-old, hyper, adorable, sometimes-well-behaved, sometimes-evil Beagle puppy. :dogdance:

I mention the pets because my mom will be staying with them, and chances are pretty good that I will be receiving entertaining phone calls from her about them while we are gone. ;)

Father in law/FIL and his wife, stepmother in law/SMIL - Following our first holiday Disney trip last December, DH invites them to go to Disney with us this holiday season, and they agree.

On with the back-story!

So, back in 2002 DH and I go to WDW for our honeymoon after saving for over a year and planning for far longer than that. We did not have lots of money back then. When we got engaged, we were both working at Best Buy. But I was staying with Mom back then, and this was WDW and our honeymoon and DH had never been there. I went all out! I think my mom questioned my sanity for spending so much on a honeymoon, but it was incredible! We were there for 8 days at…the Beach Club. :cheer2: We drive to Florida when we go. It’s a 16 hour drive, so we stop and spend the night somewhere along the way. We were staying in Wildwood, FL the night before our arrival at a motel that was a dramatic contrast to the deluxe resort in which we were about to stay. We were saving the $$$ for Disney! Well, after an early departure from Wildwood that morning (due to a mouse who did NOT go by the name of Mickey in our room :scared: ), we arrived and checked in at the Beach Club bright and early at about 8:00am. Now, we had booked a Disney Fairytale Honeymoon package at the Beach Club. I did NOT spring for a fancy view or anything. I just wanted to stay at the Beach Club. It sounded like the perfect resort for me. I love the whole beach theme, and I adored the architecture, not to mention the fact that the pool sounded amazing. So, we check in and the CM says because it’s our honeymoon, they have upgraded our room. :wizard: We had a corner room on the first floor at the end of a hall with a king-size bed, a patio, and a water view! :cloud9: We could see across Crescent Lake to the Boardwalk out one window and towards Stormalong Bay out the other. It was an amazing room and a magical honeymoon, and as we were driving home (after a stop at St. Augustine for the night so DH could see the ocean for the first time), he spoke. And the words that came out of his mouth guaranteed me that I married the right man. This man who is very close to his family and would never dream of moving 3 hours away from them, said, “We could get jobs at Disney and move down there.” Yes ladies and gentlemen, we have a convert! :cheer2: :dance3:

When will we make it back to the World? (Don't peek at the siggie!) What changes lie in our future? Will the magic wear off or does absence make the heart grow fonder? You will find out if you come back for the next installment… A Strange Chain of Events

It sounds like you have it altogether.....I am happy taht my hubby is a disney addict too.....gotta love a convert too........we go in December too........am I anxious....YOU BET
anxious for your next installment of pretrip

:cheer2: Princess can't wait for the next installment Very entertaining!!! :cool1: :thumbsup2 I am looking forward to a trip in July so I know where to look for advice!

Thanks for finding the Pre-trip board. Let me know when you are ready to move over to the Trip reports board.

Ohmari

Oh! I have responses! (I need encouragement with the this being my first trippie.)

pumba - Thanks for the encouraging words! And congrats on the December trip. Have you ever been there at that time of the year before?

mrsdelahr - Oh! You are going in July? I am so surprised! ;) :lmao: No candy for you! :rotfl2:

OhMari - Thanks! I actually didn't find the pre-trip board on my own. I am new to the trippie boards, but loving it!

Hey You, I'm liking the Pre-trip report. :woohoo:

I have to tell you, I think I am questioning your sanity now. ;) You do know that once you write a Trip Report there is no turning back? It's addictive. You'll do it for ALL your trips now.

I peaked at your siggie too. You told me not to but I don't follow orders very well.

Does your husband have a brother, cousin, uncle or really good friend who can be a Disney convert for me???? :teeth:

Hi, I'm reading along too. Great start. We seem to be going about the same time. We are staying at the Pop. 11/25-12/2. Cool. Can't wait to read more.

Thanks to everyone for reading! :goodvibes

wdwr - Yes, I was afraid it would be addictive, and there is no turning back now. :) And sorry, DH doesn't have anyone who would qualify for you. We will keep an eye out for you though. :teeth:

monymony3471 - Yeah, we are going at the same time! How cool! :bounce: I will be the one with a camera permanently attached to my face, wearing LGMHPC, and my husband will be accosting cast members for pins. :rotfl:

So, I left you on the trip home from our honeymoon, when my DH proved that he had been converted to total Disney fanatic by suggesting we get jobs at Disney and move to Florida.

So, on our honeymoon, we were across the lake from the Boardwalk. Who can tell me what was going on at the Boardwalk back in 2002? What’s that? You in the back? :listen: …No, it was not a squash farmers’ convention…OK, so maybe that was going on, but that’s not what I was referring to. I was referring to the DVC models that were being shown back then at the Boardwalk. Yeah, we went on the tour. (I know, I know) But like I said, we didn’t have a lot of money, and we didn’t even own a house back then. So we didn’t buy. (I do NOT want to remember what the cost per point was back then. :sad2: )

Throughout 2002, a lot of things changed in our life. Back in January, Josh had gotten a new job. We moved into our new apartment in July, and in November I got a new job as well. In the spring of 2003, we started house shopping. We actually started going to open houses for fun on Sundays and discovered we could actually afford something. :woohoo: So the search began. We went from wanting to build, to looking for something a little older (read less expensive), to wanting to build again, to looking for something already built, but still new.

Then, in November of 2003, my dad passed away, and less than two weeks later, my grandpa passed away. My mom and dad had been divorced since I was 10 (although neither remarried), he was 20 years older than my mom, and he had never been sick a day in his life. It was a total shock even though he was 78 years old at the time. My grandpa was the only grandfather I ever knew because my dad‘s parents were gone before I was born. Our search for a house was put on hold while I tried to comprehend what had just happened. I had lost the two most important men in my life outside of my husband within 2 weeks of each other.

When we resumed our search for a house, our realtor took us to see a couple in the same neighborhood one night. After seeing the last house, we asked about another one down the street. We looked at it and learned that it had four bedrooms (more than any others we had looked at), and the price had been reduced. :cheer2:

In February 2004, we moved in! :thumbsup2 In May, we both received our associates degrees, and in September, Josh was promoted and I switched departments in my company. We were both doing something we enjoyed much more and getting paid more for it. We finally planned our return trip to the World. We would be going in May of 2005 for our 3rd wedding anniversary. And we invited Josh’s best friend and another friend of ours to go with us. This other friend was someone we were trying to fix up Josh’s friend with and by the time we went on the trip, they were in fact dating…for about 2 months…and they neither one had a lot of experience with dating. It could have been much worse. But it could have been much better. Josh and I ended up spending a fair amount of time on our own. And we did have a lot of fun. It just wasn’t the trip we originally thought it was going to be. We did the dining plan, which was great! And remember where we stayed on our honeymoon? (hint: Beach Club in case you weren‘t paying attention) Well, this time we stayed at…All Star Movies. Not exactly the same. But not bad. We were, however, so far on the outskirts of the resort that it was actually closer to go catch the bus at All Star Music. Oh well. We were at Disney, and there was fun to be had, and we did have it! And we started planning our next trip on the way home. ;) Oh, did I forget to mention we bought into DVC in April???

:cheer2: this is great.... so now I know what you meant about these trip logs :surfweb: i keep checking back for more. love it love it. am anxiously awaiting for the next edition......yet another thing that you have got me hooked on :rotfl: alright I guess I owe you big. Boy or Girl my first born will be named princesslynda princess: :goodvibes :rotfl:

ps princess.... no candy for you!!! :stir: :joker:

I am really enjoying reading your pre-trip reports...and we will be there too when you are. I will have my LGMPC attached to our stroller (which is yellow and black...with a cutie in it)!!

Cannot wait to read more.

Oh sure, you have someone way back then to set up but no one for me now. Figures. I agree "NO CANDY FOR YOU"!

I also don't want a reminder of the cost per point for buying into the DVC in 2005, 2004, 1996, 1995 or 1994. I would probably kick myself all the way from Ontario to Orlando.

I'm enjoying this but when are we going to get to the year 2006 already???? This isn't a pre-trip...this is a PROLOGUE. Let's get to the planning for this trip already. You leave in a couple weeks! :stir: ;)

mrsdelahr - muahaha! :stir: My evil plot thickens! I will have you wanting to move to Florida before you know it! :lmao: Yes, I do think naming your first born princesslynda is highly appropriate, and I ate your brownies! :rotfl2:

Avivasmom - Thanks! Hey, I will have to keep an eye out for you too! :thumbsup2

wdwr - :sad2: Well, I will keep an eye out for a man for you, but trust me, that one was not addicted to Disney! And I will speed it up in the next installment, pushy pusherson! Relax! :rotfl:

Welcome back to installment 3! :sunny: I am going to pick up the pace a bit. As wdwr so kindly pointed out, I am leaving in 2 ½ weeks!

I left you with news of our DVC purchase. Well, in March of 2005, DH and I started looking into DVC. Actually, DH started calling me at work asking me questions and telling me he had researched this or that. I began to think he was serious. He was! :Pinkbounc We closed in April. We had a September Use Year, so no points available until then, but we were DVC members! :cheer2: This was also the time when we found the Dis boards. Josh stumbled upon them while doing research. Yeah, we lurked a bit. So what? We also bought a digital SLR camera before the May 2005 trip, and I started reading up on it. (More on that later) And in July, I got a new vehicle, a 2005 Nissan Quest (AKA:The Disney Bus), because we knew we would be making frequent, long road trips. :moped: Anywho, we planned our first Disney holiday trip and our first trip “home” for December of 2005.

Aside: In June 2005, we discovered a little game called VMK (Virtual Magic Kingdom). Check it out here on Dis if you get a chance. It has its own board. Don’t blame me if you get hooked though! :rolleyes1 ;) We have met some great folks through the Dis boards and VMK, and we get to see a couple of them on our trips to Disney starting in December 2005. They are locals! :rotfl2:

On our December trip last year, we made our first trip home to Saratoga Springs (with a DTD view-WOW!).
ec2cde69.jpg

We also stayed at Beach Club Villas for part of the trip. We wanted to check out more than one DVC resort, and I want to add on at BCV since we spent our honeymoon at the Beach Club and I fell in love with the place. :goodvibes We also became annual pass holders. We went to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Candlelight Processional, saw the Osborne Lights, went on the amazing 7-hour Backstage Magic tour, and met some new friends. We had a great time! :teeth:

Before we even left for our December trip, we had planned a trip for May 2006 for our anniversary. But in the meantime, those darn VMK/DIS friends of mine planned a meet for February 2006. So we planned yet another trip for February! A quick one this time - only 3 days. For the February meet, we stayed at Port Orleans Riverside with the others, and it was a great resort! This was our first stay in a moderate resort, and I was impressed! :thumbsup2 We were in the mansion section. It was beautiful, we met some great people, and once again, had a blast. :grouphug:

In May of this year, we stayed at the Boardwalk Villas for our anniversary. (Luna Park and MGM view this time)

Once again, a great resort and a wonderful trip. We even got to eat breakfast at Cinderella’s Royal Table and got the best seat in the house!

(Also, by this point in time, I have read several books on photography, practiced a lot, and photographed my sister-in-law’s wedding in April. I would also be taking senior pictures for a friend of my mom‘s daughter after returning from the May trip.)

So, if you recall, when we returned from our December 2005 trip, my DH invited his father and step mother to come to WDW with us this year for the holiday trip. We were actually uncertain when we were going at that point in time. We knew it would be sometime between September and December 2006. Next up…In-Laws, Holidays, and the Happiest Place on Earth - Recipe for Disaster or Fun Family Vacation? :confused3

That's right we do leave in 2 1/2 weeks. Keep going! I stalled on my report. I've been reading so much, I just got writer's block or something.

We envy the vacation club members.

Ignore this. I posted as DH accidentally.

Recipe for Disaster or Fun Family Vacation?

Sorry for the delay in getting this posted. It has been a crazy week, and I struggled a lot with how to tell you our story from where we left off. There is a reason for that, but I will get to that in a bit.

So, FIL and SMIL accepted our invitation for a 2006 Disney holiday trip. It’s time to plan a trip to WDW, folks! We determined that although we would love to go to the Food & Wine Festival and MNSSHP (since we have not been to either one yet) we would have more time off available and more money if we waited until Christmas time. DH and I would also love for FIL and SMIL to see WDW at Christmas. (They have never been to WDW…AT ALL!) When we mentioned we were thinking of leaving on Thanksgiving Day after the meal, FIL actually said he didn’t care if we left earlier. SWEET! :woohoo: Since DH and I are already off work that day, that means less paid leave needed if we use the whole day as a travel day. So we plan to leave on Thanksgiving morning. DH and I will go out to breakfast with both of our moms, and then pick up FIL and SMIL and hit the road. It is a 16-hour drive for us, so we will stop in Georgia to spend the night and arrive at the World on Friday.

Side note: Before I move on, I must mention that we once followed FIL and SMIL to Dubuque, Iowa, which is a 4-hour drive, and we had to make a pit stop for FIL no less than 4 times! :earseek: It may have been more times, but I don‘t remember for sure. Side note within the side note: I keep thinking I should come up with a collective name for FIL and SMIL, but for some reason, I am getting a kick out of calling them “FIL and SMIL”, so I will continue to do so. End side notes.

So, having informed FIL that he will be denied fluids for 24 hours prior to getting into the Disney Bus (AKA our van) :rotfl: , we forged ahead with planning. FIL and SMIL are going to be riding down with us and fly back home on Tuesday. DH and I will be staying until Saturday, 12/2. We chose Saratoga Springs because we think FIL and SMIL will enjoy the atmosphere there. Besides, it is our home resort so we can make ressies 11 months out. We will be staying off-site when we arrive on Friday night. I know, I know, but it saves precious DVC points and allows us to check in bright and early the next morning at SSR.

Now then, what to do and when? :scratchin DH and I always look at various factors and decide what we want to do on what day and then decide on ADRs. DH then calls to make them. The holiday trip is slightly trickier than our usual May trips because we have to plan around MVMCP and CP. And we want FIL and SMIL to see all the holiday happenings, so we have to get all of that in before they leave on Tuesday. So, we decide on a plan of attack, and DH makes the ADRs!

So, what is it that we have planned, you might ask? At least I think you might ask. If not, I’m not sure why you’re reading this trippie. :lmao: So, here it is.

On Friday evening, we plan to take FIL and SMIL to dinner at Raglan Road and hit the Adventurer’s Club at Pleasure Island. This is one of our favorite places! If you can get there, you should really check it out. It’s part scripted, part improv, and completely hilarious. And there’s a lot of audience interaction too. We LOVE it! :Pinkbounc It is one of our must-dos.

Saturday morning, we will check in at SSR and head to MGM for EMH. (How many acronyms can I use in one sentence?) We have ADRs at Sci Fi for lunch and 50’s Prime Time for dinner. We try to hit both of these spots each time we get to the World. We LOVE the atmosphere and the food at both of these restaurants. :thumbsup2 We will also see the Osborne Lights.

Sunday is Epcot day. We will probably hit Seasons at The Land for lunch. We like the variety, it is convenient to kill time while waiting on a FastPass for Soarin’, and the fruit tarts hold us over until we get to Norway - the berry tarts at the bakery there are bliss! :cloud9: We have reserved the Candlelight Processional package, with dinner at LeCellier and CP at 6:45 PM.

Monday is MK day! There’s nothing like taking someone who has never been to WDW to MK for the first time – even if they are adults! We plan to do counter service for lunch and have ADRs for Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner. This is also our first MVMCP of the trip. Last year, we went to one of them, and it just wasn’t enough for us. We had sooooo much fun! party: Besides, this way we can experience it with FIL and SMIL and without, which is probably a good thing. Sounds like a good time for a side note.

Side note: FIL and SMIL are relatively young, FIL having been very young when DH was born. However, for a couple in their late 40‘s/early 50‘s, they run out of steam pretty quickly. They eat dinner early, go to bed early, and generally act like a couple in their 60’s, or even 70’s at times. Not that they are not up for something like this, but this should be interesting. End side note.

Tuesday morning, we have ADRs for Chef Mickey’s for breakfast, and FIL and SMIL fly home. Since we will be seeing them off, this is a free day for DH and me. We plan to play mini golf and have dinner ressies at…California Grill at 8pm. I am sooooo excited about this one! :mickeyjum It is a first for us, and fireworks are at 9pm! DH did a great job on that one! Thanks honey! :love2:

Wednesday is Animal Kingdom day. We have evening EMH in case we need them. It is likely we won’t, but if we do, we got ‘em. We do love this park. It just doesn’t usually take us all day long to do what we want to do there. Although, there is the new Nemo show to see. We have ADRs at Boma for dinner. This is another first.

Thursday is our second Magic Kingdom day, and we have morning EMH. This is our second MVMCP night. We have ADRs for Tony’s Town Square for dinner, and we are hoping to be joined for dinner and the party by one of those local friends of ours.

Friday is another “free” day. We will be checking out of SSR and into Caribbean Beach in the morning. We will use this day to finish up anything we ran out of time for at the parks. We have ADRs at Shutters for dinner and once again hope to be joined by our friend.

Saturday is the day we leave. We have ADRs for O’Hana for breakfast. This is another must-do for us. This is my favorite character meal. My two favorite characters are there – Mickey and Stitch. ::MickeyMo :stitch2: And I LOVE the pineapple bread! We usually end up hitting this place the last morning we are there. We will be leaving for the trip home at around 2pm. We will be driving to Georgia that night to spend the night before heading home on Sunday.

We are pretty pleased with our plans for showing FIL and SMIL a great Disney Christmas! And we are always happy to be heading to our second home. So, we have a plan! We are ready to show FIL and SMIL a good time! Or are we? :confused3

In June, FIL and SMIL moved about 3 blocks away from us into a new home before selling the home in which they were living. In September, FIL lost his job. We began to wonder if they were still joining us on the trip, but they insisted they were still going. (Here is why I struggled with how to tell this story.) Flash back to about two weeks ago - The house is still on the market, FIL is still unemployed (although partially self-employed), and they give us the news that they won’t be joining us on the trip. It’s disappointing, but there are advantages to it just being the two of us. (We won’t be making 27 pit stops on the way down there for one.:rotfl: ) We tell FIL and SMIL that we will try again next fall and maybe do the F&W Festival and MNSSHP after all.

You see, the holiday season of 2007 may be our last one in central Illinois. After our December trip last year, DH said the words I thought I might hear someday, but never thought I would hear this soon. Those words were, “I really want to move there.” He was serious this time! :scared1: We discussed pros and cons, timing, and what needs to be done before we can make this type of move, and we are actually targeting the fall of 2008 if things go as planned.

So, back to this trip! We have slightly modified our hotel ressies and our ADRs. Here’s a rough outline post changes.

Thanksgiving Day - Travel day. After breakfast with my mom at our house (We will see Josh’s mom earlier in the week.), we will hit the road. We will drive to Georgia and spend the night there.

Friday - Arrival day. We will arrive at the World around 3pm, stay off-site that night to save DVC points, and will probably hit DTD that afternoon. Just the other day, DH added an ADR for Whispering Canyon for dinner. We have never been there before, and I can’t wait. We still plan to do Adventurer’s Club as well.

Saturday - MGM day. EMH this morning. We still have our ADRs at Sci Fi for lunch and 50’s Prime Time for dinner.

Sunday - Epcot day. We have the Candlelight Processional package, with dinner at LeCellier.

Monday - Magic Kingdom day. We have ADRs for Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner, MVMCP and hope that our local friend can join us for this one as well since we still have 2 extra tickets.

Tuesday - Free day. Ressies at Chef Mickey’s for breakfast. Weather permitting, there will be mini golf. And I am most excited about our California Grill ADRs for 8pm and fireworks at 9pm!

Wednesday - Animal Kingdom day. We have evening EMH in case we need them and ADRs at Boma for dinner. This could be the night we go to Jellyrolls at The Boardwalk. (Another must-do)

Thursday - Magic Kingdom day #2. We have morning EMH. This is our second MVMCP night, and we have ADRs for Tony’s Town Square for dinner.

Friday - Another free day. We will be checking out of SSR and into Caribbean Beach in the morning. We will finish up anything we ran out of time for at the parks. We have ADRs at Shutters for dinner and we’ll likely hit Adventurer’s Club again. (Yes, again. We LOVE it, remember?)

Saturday - This is the day we leave. So, we have ADRs at O’Hana for breakfast. We will be leaving for the trip home at around 2pm, driving to Georgia that night, and heading home on Sunday.

I now own a PassPorter, and this will be my first trip using it. I am excited about it, as I am a dork about things that help organize my chaotic life. In addition to that, I still swear by my Birnbaum’s guides. I buy the new one as soon as it comes out every year. And I have copies going back to 1999, although I did miss some years in there. We also have 2 copies of the Without Kids version, 2 copies of the dining guide, and a copy of the cruise line guide even though we have not been on a cruise yet! We are almost always planning a Disney trip, and we like it that way. And that is part of why we love the DIS so. :goodvibes

Last minute camera accessories have been ordered and received. Like I said, I have been studying photography, and I have accumulated some great equipment over the past year and a half. I now have 2 digital SLR cameras with 4 lenses, a flash attachment, 2 tripods, remote shutter releases, and various other accessories. Not all of this stuff comes with us to the parks every day. We usually use one skillfully packed backpack. Depending on the length of the trip, I can very easily take over 1000 pictures on a Disney vacation.

We have purchased pin lots on eBay ahead of time to use for trading purposes. DH has sorted out the ones that are keepers and placed the others in zipper bags to be carried in the backpack. DH will accost CM’s  in order to obtain more cast lanyard pins for our collection.

I have created some tags made with LGMHPC for our backpacks and lanyards to identify us as DISers. ::yes:: Just today, I got my hair cut and colored and picked up some things I needed for the trip. Gotta have fresh hair color and new nail polish for WDW! princess: My mom is attending puppy classes with Jasper and me, so she can take her to class while we are gone. :dogdance: We are making a purchase tomorrow for the trip as well, but I’ll tell you about that later, I think. ;)

So, today DH and I accomplished a LOT! We cleaned out the Disney Bus. I mean, it is CLEAN. We vaccumed, armor-alled, did the windows, and I even cleaned some spots on the carpeting. (Yeah, I know. How long is that gonna last?) We cleaned out our garage, and I'll be darned if we can't park in it now! (We had been parking in the driveway for months!) So, now Mom can park in there while we are gone. I won't go into detail about what I did in the backyard. I'll just say I cleaned up after the puppy. :crazy2: It's a good thing she's cute! See?

47b6cf33b3127cce8eec218a68e400000016109AZtm7Rw4aw

And just to be fair to the cat...

47b6d605b3127cce8c6b19ef49b200000026109AZtm7Rw4aw

He's cute too. (I meant to post these when I introduced them earlier in the TR, but I forgot. So I am squeezing them in now. Hey, they're the only kids I have so far, and it's my TR. :rotfl: )

Oh, and we made that purchase for the trip I referred to earlier. We got a digital camcorder! I am so excited about this because we can record the fireworks (and other shows) and watch them at home now!

We have also adjusted our plans slightly. In order to meet up with a couple of fellow DISers, we will be going to MK on Sunday and Epcot on Monday and then switch parks when it is time for our dinner ressies on those evenings. Hmmm, I wonder who those DISers could be... :rolleyes1

And I really need to say this because I can't believe it is true, but it is.
We will be at WDW NEXT WEEK! :cheer2: :cloud9: :Pinkbounc  :yay:
