If you can place a pencil between the bottom of your breast and your stomach and it stays there, you failed the pencil test. You and me honey, I suspect would be dismal failures...
Breast lift/reduction is high on the priority list when I'm done losing weight (along with a tummy tuck). The discouraging thing is that I don't know when we'll ever be able to afford it. Someday soon, I hope.
kfeuer-lol to the crayola test, I would fail it miserably!
I have been thinking about looking into breast reduction as my Gyn suggested it last year. She said that different insurance companies have different stipulations but that most covered the surgery if 1) she wrote a letter of predetermination of benefits before scheduling appts with a plastic surgeon and 2) a set amount (different for each ins co) is removed from each breast during surgery.
I'm still contemplating this and will probably talk to her more at my yearly appt in March. GL!
Pardon me. STUPID test. Anyone over a C-cup can't pass. Just ignore that test. As we age gravity takes over no matter your weight. It's all about the cup size and shape. There's long and skinny, round and wide, etc. Enjoy what ya have. Buy a good bra.
I was thinking the same thing! A pencil under a breast was the "old test" to determine if you needed a bra or could "go without! Yep, I am dating myself with that one!
um, anyone with b***s would fail this test! Unless they're fake, anyway. I'm only 24, never had kids, and not generally 'saggy', and I can keep a pencil there. What a silly test!
I think it's meant to be with your bra on and if you fail it means you need a better bra. Now some people (myself included) would probably fail even with the BEST bra on.!
