Pen Gift Help

Hi all, I need some help. I want to purchase a very nice pen as an anniversary gift for my BF that I can have engraved (a heart, a word & the date) & do not know where to start. I do not want to spend more than $175. Any thoughts?

First thought is Things Remembered. I thought they had some symbols that could be engraved but you might want to check with a local store to see what capabilities they have. If he doesn't mind a little bling they've got a pen on the web that comes with a heart charm then you'd just need to engrave the date and message.

Fountain pen might stretch the budget there but they also have nice roller ball and ball points. I actually like the rollerballs better than because they look just as elegant but are more convenient for use and refills.

I don't see that option on all of them. But I liked the heart in the "Symbols" collection.

I have a pen obsession. It started simple with Office Depot etc and quickly expanded. I am now a dedicated user of fountain pens and they are AMAZING. My preferred fountain pen is the Lamy 2000 in fine nib or medium for a heavier stroke.

I am currently going to back college. I take notes for hours and hours on end. The Lamy 2000 is by far the best, most comfortable pen I've ever used.

I use noodlers bullet proof black ink in my pen of late, but also enjoy Lamy inks too.

If you don't want to spend the money for a 2000 Lamy safari pens are decent, but no where near as good as a 2000.
