Jordan, I am so sorry you are having these work issues. Is there any way they can hire someone to help you? How can they expect you to work these hours week after week? This is why you keep getting sick you aren't getting enough rest. Does anyone else work all these hours too? It just seems like way too much. You have to take care of yourself. I just worry about you.

Your kids are beautiful! Wow Alaska! Are doing a cruise or just a trip? Either way I have always heard great things about it. My Aunt and Uncle have taken their motorhome all the way from down here to there twice. They loved it.

No, hadn't you heard? Disney Cruise Line announced their Alaska cruise offerings earlier this month. They'll be sailing in summer 2011

I've always wanted to go on an AK cruise and said if Disney ever did it, I'd want to go... so lo and behold my wishes came true

Can't wait. Something to keep me busy so I don't get over-antsy for June 2012 - ha ha ha ha.

Ask her cause I think you really do. If you get the dvd pay attention at around 57 minutes in ( sad but I had to remember so I could go back and take a second look when it was over. ) and you will see yourself laughing in the audience.

Mmmm, me thinks Eugene is out, but it seems it's for the best anyway. Hope things work out for getting together with your friend Tom and his family.

Work is better, it was another looooong week hours wise. This week looks light.

Tom's come and visited me a few times at WDW and I've either come in early or stayed later a few times and stayed at his home..I don't think I've seen hime though in 4 years...I think we'll be okay!

Jordan it is not possible for you to work any longer hours unless they have added "figure out how to add more hours to the day" to your list of duties! Just not possible! Hope things get better for you soon!

Aw Jordy I am so sorry. With a FIL "in the biz" and a sister who has been the youth director for the past 10 years I can say that the church, any church, seems more often than not to have just as much drama, just as many politics and often unrealistic expectations as any company I have ever worked for. I don't think micromanagement is a for-profit quality, in fact it seems to be even more prevalent in every non profit I've ever been involved with, with less professionalism surrounding the drama.

But. I feel your pain.

However. You are the only one that can push back. I don't care how crummy the economy is or what a wonderful greater purpose you serve, everyone has limits. Those limits vary widely but only you can enforce them

I am sorry your friend cannot go but it does sound like it has opened a window to catch up with other important people and while a wrinkle, perhaps a lovely one at the end of the day.

Churches often have limited funds. So I don't know if I'd get much help, but maybe I'd get volunteers to come in and help with some of the more office type tasks....Thanks for the idea!

Thank goodness I have a "light" week. Not much pressing work right now, just alot of planning..8 hour days hopefully.
