Chapter 12. Where's Jordo?

Soooo sorry about my disappearance for the last 2-3 weeks....

I don't know how much I'll be around the next week or so either.

Here's the deal:

I am in charge of our Photo Directory at church. ALOT of planning and work goes into this and the Photo Sessions run Tuesday-Saturday of next week. On those days I will be working 13-14 hour days.....

I am co-directing High School Camp for our Church Conference. We have about 115 kids/staff altogether. Our training meeting is tomorrow from 10am-3pm and I still have BINDERS to put together for that (I also need contents as well...looks like an all-nighter).

Tomorrow night we have a Young Adults get together which I need to attend.

Monday night I work with our Interim Youth Director planning for the rest of summer and mapping out the next year.

I have to be at church next week to also be available for contractors who will be looking at our facility as we are preparing for construction this fall.

Sunday, the 19th. We have our Sunday in the Park. I am in charge of the program...I really haven't given this much thought yet. We have our worship team and our speaker and our A/V guy so I'm not too worried.

Oh and remember that our Senior Pastor is taking the last 2 weeks of July off and now 3 weeks in September.

I also need to start thinking about the Xmas Program and Nominating Committee..oh and now I am in charge of Outreach/Social Concern and with construction coming up I need to figure out how to keep people connected since much of our church will be down during construction....

I NEED WDW soooo bad...just one trip..maybe two trips around Castaway Creek at TL would do the trick....

WOWZA!!!!!! Yeah, you should be reeeaaallly ready for a vacation by the time February gets here. Glad to see you back around for a few minutes. I started my cruise TR! But I understand if you aren't there right away. you're a busy bee!!

Jordan you should come down with us and stay on my CM discount Just sayin.

Saw you posting on the group TR, and them asking you to come ....I wish you could. I will be there right after T-giving and the first week of December for a birthday trip for ME!!!

Nice new ride for yourself and of course loved the China pics, even though I've seen most. You got some really good ones! Glad I found your PTR!! Always fun to see who's going with you and just how many peeps you can find!!

Ok J, here's my quick post - forgot how to do the link thing in your first post so you can do it...

I booked BAY LAKE TOWER ressies today!!! So we are set for February 6-14, 2010 No MK view, but we got the lake view so it should be ok. It buys us an extra night there so that's all good...

I can't wait!! So it looks like it'll be me, DH, DD, DS, DD#2, my mom, my dad, and the posse (Jordan and his peeps, probably Kim and BF Allan). What fun!!!

It'll be our first experience in a Monorail resort so we'll see how we like it compared to our usual Epcot resort preference. At least we'll have a basis of comparison for future trips.

Chapter 13. So you read the news?

So if you've seen Wendy's post, you've seen the good news:

She went straight from a 2-bedroom at the Villas at the Wilderness Lodge to a 2 Bedroom Lake View at Bay Lake Tower (Did they really not think about the abbreviation, BLT, before naming it? Just sayin). All she did was make a phone call on the day the 7 month booking window opened...No waitlist. No getting one day at a time. She got pretty much what she wanted, other than the MK view, her first try. When does that ever happen?Now that's some good DVC mojo for sure.

Okay, some Cast of Character changes:

So it looks like my aunt and uncle (Wendy's parents) are now going at least at this point. My uncle is recovering from major surgery so I think they'll decide a bit closer to the trip...

Having older folks changes the dynamic a bit. So that will be a factor in planning. Although my aunt and uncle have no problem doing their own thing.

In my head, I was mentally planning for Wendy and gang to be at either the BCV or the BWV, thinking they wouldn't get into BLT. So I'll have to readjust how we meet up, how long it will take to meet up, how I can get my Boardwalk area fix.....

Other changes

For my trip in 2008, Wendy and Derek paid for the first 2 nights of my alone time at Pop as my birthday/Christmas present. I just kinda threw it out there and I think they are up for doing it again this year. So it looks like my WDW vacation just got extended by at least 2 days. I plan on paying for 2 nights on my own so I'll have an extra 4 days by myself at WDW. The downside is that it will be over President's Weekend when even prices at Pop are a bit higher and the crowds crazy. However, since it's on the backend of my trip, it won't be so bad because I can just relax and take my time. Sooooo, here are the dates as of right now:

Everyone: Saturday, February 6th-Sunday, February 14th.
Me: Saturday, February 6th-Sunday, February 14th
and Sunday, February 14th-Thursday, February 18th.
