Peeps 2. The Sweaty Asian Strikes Back. Pt 2. Feb '10. 2/21-Final Chapter. Link to TR

Thanks for saying so, I don't always feel like I am. I think Winkers is younger by three years. Being around friends with great amounts of Laughter and love, a little good food thrown in for good measure... your singing my tune. :cloud9:

 I can totally see it too! It's rare to hear anyone else saying glazed over, I thought my mom and I were the only one's to say this. Are you sure we're not long lost siblings?

That's awesome Rose! I should have known with your loving heart you were a caretaker by profession. :)

Why Thank you .. But some days some of my consumers would not exactly agreee!! I tell them what they NEED to hear and that is not always what they WANT to hear !!!:rotfl2:But I really do LOVE each and every one of them !! Some are easier to LOVE than others :rotfl2:But I do make them all laugh and my staff too !! I think they would say I'm a GOOD Boss at least I have a cup that says I'm the BEST!!! :lmao: I told them Thanks but I am not in charge of raises and they didn;t take it back!!!:rotfl2:

Ummm, yeah. How about Sept. 5-13th?

Is that late enough?? although, there is some faint rumblings of postponing until F&W starts in Oct. FDining, maroo's PIN still in effect, F&W, Fall decorations, MNSSHP... it's all there and more.

I'm thinking this could be a very fun thing. :confused3:dance3:

MAYBE. October or early November would work better for me. december is out.

Jinkies! You've all been so chatty this weekend! We've been painting inside the house - have a long way to go. We're tired - I also had a presentation, a church luau and training and B2B Sunday School with K-1s today, as well as a visit with the out-laws:goodvibes I posted something a little while ago about twinkies and I don't even know whose thread it was ! :rotfl2:

Jordan, your sentiments are so sweet! I found the DIS after I bought a passporter for the 2005 cruise at the book store, and found wdwinfo.com listed as a good place to go to get info and "chat" with others cruising with DCL. I found a wonderful group of warm, caring, fun people and I've been hooked from then on. You were one of the "orginals" I have a "coffee klatch" of ladies who have moved way past the DIS, and I feel so blessed to have made so many good friends here. :grouphug: To all of you!

from Jordy: He's bald and wears glasses so I believe him
:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: I hope you don't drown down there. We're supposed to get some snow this week. I've really been enjoying our warm winter.

You pre-date my PTRs/TRs..so you're old school..over 4 years now!

It's already puddling up....

We have loved the Tusker House breakfast the two times we have been there, so I bet dinner is just as good.

Good luck with the weather this week. I always believe Greg Forbes, too, but I don't know as if it is because he is bald. :lmao:

Tusker House does sound good! I don't think I've ever seen it mentioned in a TR for dinner, so I'll be curious to see what you thought. :goodvibes: Your trip is soooo close!

Chapter 75. A brief summary

I will probably do this again the week of the trip, but I'd thought I'd take this time to summarize the upcoming trip:

Here we go:

Friday, Feb 5th: Depart OC Airport 2:30pm. Arrive MCO 11:20pm. Arrive @ POP.
Sat, Feb 6th: Sleep in. MK.CS Lunch: Everything Pop. ADR Dinner: The Wave.*
Sun, Feb 7th: Epcot-FW. MK for Evening EMH. Babysit. CS Meals: Sunshine Seasons and Contempo Cafe.
Mon, Feb 8th: Sleep in. Epcot-WS. ADR Lunch: Tutto Italia. ADR Dinner: Kouzzina*
Tues, Feb 9th: AK. DTD evening. CS Meals: Flame Tree and Wolfgang Puck Express
Wed, Feb 10th: DHS. AK Evening EMH. ADR Lunch: Prime Time. ADR Dinner: Tusker House.
Thurs, Feb 11th: TL day. DTD evening. CS Lunch: Leaning Palms. ADR Dinner: Raglan Road.
Friday, Feb 12th: Free day.
Sat, Feb 13th: Free day. Epcot-WS evening. ADR Dinner: Teppan Edo.
Sun, Feb 14th: Resort change. Resort Hop. ADR Breakfast: Kona Cafe. ADR Dinner: Boma.
Mon, Feb 15th: TL day. Free evening. CS Lunch: Typhoon Tillys. ADR Dinner: Jiko.
Tues, Feb 16th: DHS. Free afternoon/evening. ADR Lunch: Brown Derby.
Wed, Feb 17th: Free day. ADR Lunch: Sanaa.
Thurs, Feb 18th: Depart.

I just added Tusker House on Wednesday night, but since it's Winkers and Rosie's last night, I am open to change. It came down to Tusker House and Captain's Grille, but since I was already at AK for evening EMH, it became a matter of convenience. I'm still kind of upset they switched Tusker House to a TS/Buffet as I LOVED it as a Counter Service Restaurant. However, I do want to try it out as a Buffet and it's somewhere I haven't tried before so...there you go.

Thursday the 11th and Sunday the 14th become non-park days. This opens up the 12th, 13th, 15th evening, 16th afternoon/evening and 17th as park days. I have a ton of free time. I'm sure the 12th and 13th will be spent with Wendy and gang since they are leaving on the 14th. Like I said before, this will be a very special episode of Jordan's WDW 2010 with all the down time. Watch out Blossom!

The matter of a possible bounceback. It's not completely out of the question if I receive a bounceback that I would return again this year. It's just a matter of when. It would probably have to be in the late fall.......suggestions?

I'm getting out the canoe, some galoshes, an umbrella, my swimsuit. If you haven't heard, we're supposed to get hit with a series of storms on the West Coast. 4-8 inches over the next 5 days. We haven't had rain like that since 2005 (I didn't know that, but that's what the Greg Forbes of the Weather Channel said. He's bald and wears glasses so I believe him). It's raining right now. People in SoCal can't drive in dry weather. The next week will be crazy as far as accidents of the freeways....

Okay that's all I got......for now.

The plans look great!! I would love to book a bounceback too but I wonder if they will have one for the summer which would be the only time we'd be able to go again this year. Hmmmmmm.

ICK!!! I'm tired of the rain. We had it for over a week. I hope we don't get a ton of it again before the trip.

Well, off to bring my BRAND NEW Yukon back to the shop because it's doing stupid stuff again. I guess I will have to explain that a little more later on my PTR.

Hi all,

I don't know how many of you are going to have to pay airport parking in a few weeks, but I just received a coupon code which gave me 1/2 off mine! Here is the link if you are interested: http://www.avistarparking.com/fasttrack?promocode=ATJT

I am el cheapo extraordinaire so to go from $9 a day in super economy to $4.48 is fantastic! That gives me another $35 to spend at Disney! :woohoo:

Just fill out the little form with your airport info and dates, make sure the coupon code is in the box (ATJT) and hit enter! :cool1:

Nice, Jordan! Fantastic restaurants, lots of down time, plenty of room for flexibility, and a chance to try Kidani Village... I think your itinerary looks great! :thumbsup2

Stay dry now!

Oh I can't wait to see what you think of Tusker on EMH night as that's our plan too!

Your plans look GREAT!

:thumbsup2 for bouncebacks...FOOD AND WINE!

We got hit hard last night with wind and rain, Jeff and I got so little sleep (it was LOUD!) that he took today off! One tree came down and the coyotes seem to think it means they can come walk in our yard again. I'm just about to send the E's out to pick up the top layer of recycling that blew into the woods.

We have had more rain, HARD rain and wind (especially the wind) on a consistent, constant, basis than I can ever remember.

:rotfl2: i will have to remember to wear a bald wig (is that possible....a bald wig?) and some glasses next time i'm offering up advice.

I've heard mostly good things about Tusker House so I am looking forward to it.

I just picture his shiny head and my trust factor goes way up..;)

I've seen a few for lunch. I don't think the menu changes for dinner--just the price. Generally good things in the review, but people seem to think Boma is better.

The only time I would be able to go would be late Sept-early Nov.

We have rain on the agenda for the next week.:thumbsup2 We need it. Plus I love rain.
