Sorry to brag to those with bad weather right now but we had the most beautiful day here. Bright sunny Disney Blue skies (actually Carolina Blue ) and highs in the upper 60's.

Makes me want to :cool1::cool1: and .

After being in the freezer for over a couple of weeks and sub normal temps I am just glad it is warm out.

In your 'brief summary' you asked about the fall. We've been 2 times in October and we've had good weather both times, although this past year was hot! October generally has low crowds and is supposed to be less hot than the summer. We have gone swimming both Octobers and have really liked it. Plus you can't go wrong with MNSSHP!pirate:

After all the great costumes I've seen people wear for the MNSSHP, I'm thinking I need to make it down to WDW during October.

Lower crowds isn't a bad thing either.

All that yummy food and fun meets!

It is raining here too.

I am eating at some great places....I'm still a bit nervous about all the new places...

Rainy/Windy here still.....

Bounceback...I hear great things about F&W festival. ;)

Oh, and I'll gladly take your rain. I'm ready for the snow to be gone here. As it stands (and from what our local weather forecasters say) our big snow storm (or storms as they predict) won't hit till March and/or April. >_<

Great plans! I  Tusker House. I've only done breakfast, but I imagine all of the food is equally as good.

If you book a bounceback, I suggest late August :rolleyes1

You DID schedule a lot of free time! It sounds so relaxing but at the same time, my brain is like "What is he doing??? He's only going to the MK for HALF DAY? How will he POSSIBLY do EVERYTHING?!" :scared1:

It's funny because I plan like a maniac and think that every minute of every day will be filled with SOMETHING and when we go now, we just meander around lazily...riding the TTA 2 -3 times, riding the WDW RR 4 or 5 times a day.... It's nice to relax and not have a THING to do on vacation!

You are going to LOVE breakfast at Kona Cafe! It was everything I hoped it would be LOL

You could go back in October....We're (probably) going from the 19th to the 29th....we could totally have a DIS meet....just sayin'. :rolleyes1

Chapter 75. A brief summary

I will probably do this again the week of the trip, but I'd thought I'd take this time to summarize the upcoming trip:

I just added Tusker House on Wednesday night, but since it's Winkers and Rosie's last night, I am open to change. It came down to Tusker House and Captain's Grille, but since I was already at AK for evening EMH, it became a matter of convenience. I'm still kind of upset they switched Tusker House to a TS/Buffet as I LOVED it as a Counter Service Restaurant. However, I do want to try it out as a Buffet and it's somewhere I haven't tried before so...there you go.

Thursday the 11th and Sunday the 14th become non-park days. This opens up the 12th, 13th, 15th evening, 16th afternoon/evening and 17th as park days. I have a ton of free time. I'm sure the 12th and 13th will be spent with Wendy and gang since they are leaving on the 14th. Like I said before, this will be a very special episode of Jordan's WDW 2010 with all the down time. Watch out Blossom!

The matter of a possible bounceback. It's not completely out of the question if I receive a bounceback that I would return again this year. It's just a matter of when. It would probably have to be in the late fall.......suggestions?

I'm getting out the canoe, some galoshes, an umbrella, my swimsuit. If you haven't heard, we're supposed to get hit with a series of storms on the West Coast. 4-8 inches over the next 5 days. We haven't had rain like that since 2005 (I didn't know that, but that's what the Greg Forbes of the Weather Channel said. He's bald and wears glasses so I believe him). It's raining right now. People in SoCal can't drive in dry weather. The next week will be crazy as far as accidents of the freeways....

Okay that's all I got......for now.

First - Sorry I haven't posted. Its just, I can't keep up with you people! the conversations change so fast! :rotfl:

I love these plans. I would love to eat at Sanaa, the family won't go near it. I see you have lots of precious downtime :thumbsup2

Bounce back, join us for Ip-Dip III (weekend of Oct 22nd)

And finally, as your neighbor here in Vegas. Thanks for the rain!!! We love it!

I have my first day and possibly the day after that for evening EMH. I'm sure I 'll be there again.

No worries Tracy. I'm just glad you pop in and say hello!

I used to be a more finicky eater (still won't do seafood), but now I like eating things with different flavors....so Sanaa fits that bill quite well.

Oh, I forgot about IpDip!

Food and Wine should be done at least once in one's life. :thumbsup2

If they extend free dining ... makes it real tempting.:rolleyes1

I heard less discounts this fall, but I hope they reconsider:headache:

I just picture his shiny head and my trust factor goes way up..;)

I just picture Jim Cantore and...oh, never mind...:rolleyes1

Really? who knew?

I'll guess I'll have to re-read the "How to get chicks" manual again....;)

I wholeheartedly agree!

This is totally crackin me up....I NEVER knew this...If I had I would've taken a whole different approach with women.....;)

Hello, when Hugh Jackman broke out into singing and dancing at the Oscars, I broke out into a sweat and almost needed a heart defibrillator. :rotfl2:

Bob Iger did say they would be gradually scaling back on the discounts, but they just did the Gift Card promo in addition to the 4/3 deal. So who really knows.

I am thinking I need to go once too.

is there snow on the ground now?

Well...that depends on your definition of "snow on the ground"? If you mean exactly that, still on the ground, yes. If you mean snow on the ground from a recent snow fall, no.

We haven't had a snowfall in...2 maybe 3 weeks. However, the snow from that fall still hasn't melted off our front yard. As is the case for us since we live on the shady side of the street. Pathetic part is, we've had temps near 60 the last week. :upsidedow
